I was 11 when I watched this accidentally. I turned on our bkack and white 📺 tv and it was Miss Universe playing at the very start of the show! What’s the odds of that? While I’m rooting for Miss Philippines, she got an easy and beautiful question. All she had to do is to give the judges a smart answer. Instead it was a shallow one and it reflected on her placement being 4rth runner up! I was sad but it’s a fair ranking.🇵🇭

Miss Finland looks like a young Grace Kelly. Very pretty. Miss Haiti had a nice personality but really wasn't that pretty. Miss USA was a bimbo who didn't belong in the top five. Miss Sweden was down to earth and so natural, the Salvadoran audience loved her and got very upset when she lost. Phillipines was bland and should've been replaced in the top five by England. USA should've been replaced in top five by Brazil, Japan or Ireland.
Amparo Munoz resign or was fired a few months back. Her runner up Helen Morgan was in no position to replace her because she won Miss World AND it was revealed she’s an unmarried mother so the MUO carried on without a titleholder.
