This is really fun, genuinely a great way to utilise the less than stellar ladder to your advantage and have fun with it. The pack openings was maybe a bit long, but otherwise I liked the format of this video.
An interesting set of rules for a Nuzlocke. Your duels through silver will be much easier, but by platinum and maybe even by gold your decks are going to be torn to shreds. Edit: Oh, I thought all cards you rolled for the penalty generator get sent to the morgue. That makes it a pretty reasonable challenged with the chance to lose 3 cards every loss.
49:12 Penguins are in the legacy pack only, there is no penguin pack. EDIT: 49:45 someone pointed it out to him. Also its nice because it makes Penguins viable in the Legacy Pack-Only format I play.
The most suspicious thing in Master Duel is how they handle your first hand. If your opponent bad or brick, you will also brick. So, this will be a "fair" duel because both of you cannot play. . The most I hate is when they make the first hand in rank bad, but miraculously in Solo Mode, they will give the best opening as possible. Yesterday, I just build Nemleria deck. For 8 times in a row, I never draw a single Nemleria Starters (The URs), even when I drop Maxx "C" to my opponent who use Blackwing. After the 8 duel, I open the solo mode immediately, try the same deck, and somehow I draw my Nemleria starter. . Yeah, this is my second account and low rank. Because somehow Konami know I want Gold Pride and Nemleria in my main account and decided to not give me those cards. Like what you said about getting the same cards, I also tired seeing the new Vistrash card and Performapal Pendulum shit, and some SHS.
Ohh turns out I'm technically doing something very similar, kind of a Middle ground between this and the maso challenge (the reasoning being that opening non master packs that I unlocked through the masterpacks could lead to a thing where you'd still need to think on your deck building while providing you with a rotating set of cards with strategies to mix and match) I super recomend it though my experience has been warped, that account is super lucky in terms of single staples, I got a maxx c, zeus, pep, Royal electrumite (that I'm Super trying to build but I got 0 payoffs I can't do with another deck) and more ice dragon prisons than anyone would reasonably need, seriously I got like 9 of those (and I got more, perhaps more universally useful sealed staples but it's not as impressive)
So what is the rule about how many secret packs you can open? If you got say, 5k gems before the next ep, can you just open 10 master packs and then just spend 4k on the secret pack it unlocks?
In case of more than 1 card to be removed, can you pick the same card twice or more? Luck must be rewarded, and potentially losing multiple 3ofs would be terrible. For example in the case you pick 1 and 2 and they are the same, you lose just that card.
8:50 I'm not sure why you didn't think the right half can't give secret packs; in master packs the entire 8 cards are from the master pack, so any of the cards can open a secret pack. The first secret pack you unlocked WAS the cyberse pack
Ah that's not what's going on. If you look at the secret pack list in a pack opening summary, if two cards from the same pack unlocked secret packs, the one on the left is listed as the first one. That's why the cyberse pack didn't become my home pack. It wasn't "the first pack I was given".

Interesting idea although losing that many cards per single loss is too much. You also should generate a number to lose a card from whole collection, not just your deck. I don't see you finishing this challenge because your punishment rules are brutal.
just a small concern here...but didn't the cynet codec you opened from a master pack unlock a secret pack before armory arm did? I may be wrong but I thought it did

Oh! The Armory Arm was to the left of Cynet Codec, so it was technically the first card in the pack.
Is that how that works? I was unaware....either way it was a good episode and im looking forward to this series for sure
