Beautiful fast bowling. As a kid in the 90s my dad and I used to watch Ashes series and my dad would point out how superbly Fleming, Gillespi and McGrath bowling to the English batsmen. This is fast bowling at its finest. Australia's bowlers were also a huge factor in their resurgence as a best team for a decade and a half.
Those bowling scorecards are absolutely beautiful, Pidge Flem and Dizzy just tearing through a batting lineup. The slow mo shot of the seam was sensational as well, the ball like it was frozen in amber. Beautiful vid
you missed a lot more than cricket. the football, the tennis, the music, the films, it was truly an amazing time. things were always looking up. don't worry though... things work in cycles. another great decade will come, and i think soon, perhaps in another decade, and you will be young enough to enjoy it.
Every era has their greats. I saw all the 90s greats but I missed out on Lillee, Thomson, the Chappells, the first Windies pace quartets, Gavaskar, etc
He had single handly help in winning 2 semis for aussie 1996 & 1999. Most surprising if u c lance klusener 2 shot 4, both were flat ground shot of block haul delivery and then also fleming did not lost hope for formalities after score were level. He changed bowling side as self decision and short ball leading match to tied
He got overshadowed by the giants like Lee,mcGrath, warne, gillespie. But getting into this australian team of 90s was tougher than becoming president of the USA.
Even so, his run rate was phenomenal- below 2 - created the pressure for the others to take wickets. Incidentally check Gillespie’s run rate (nearly 6 😂)

That is one of the smoothest, cleanest bowling action I have ever seen.... amongst the ranks of Shane Bond, Alan Donald, etc.

Right
Nice style to watch. Cricket at its best in the best era.

Sachin Tendulkar, Kumar dharamsena and Damien Fleming share their birthdays on the same day.
Wow Thankyou so much for sharing that very important information. I would have known that if I had hours to waste and no life. Keep up the good work
@Manas Ralli some people are born to spoil fun he's one of em
I'm amazed to see how easily Mark Taylor was taking catches in slips..
Tubby was an excellent slip
Most people were raving about Mark Waugh's slip catching ability during that era, but Tubby was pretty damn good in there too.
@@ohhahhglennmcgrath4202 True
We were certainly treated to some great Aussie legends in the 90's and early 2000's! What a beautiful bowling action, and that seam!!

One of the most underrated bowlers. Bowled two final overs in WC Semis that helped aus go to finals. Should have had two test hat tricks
Cricket indeed is a beautiful game.!
What a beautiful bowling
Another brilliant upload keep it up
Damien Fleming had amazing bowling action
The short run up too and still generated quite a lot of pace
I didn't born that time really I have missed 90's cricket how unlucky I am
Yes. You missed cricket festival..
@@shivajinaikmaharashtrajayh1705 yes sir😔

Look at the seam position it's so perfect and upright
Flem
What a legend
Whenever seeing Fleming first thing comes to my mind is that famous SF of Aus vs Rsa 1999 WC.
That match was epic
Last over to Clusener
He had single handly help in winning 2 semis for aussie 1996 & 1999. Right. Same here Balaji
I could never bowl good deliveries when my head was facing the square leg boundary. I still can’t figure out how Flem did it.
What a commentator he is now!
An incredible display of fast bowling.
He got overshadowed by the giants like Lee,mcGrath, warne, gillespie. But getting into this australian team of 90s was tougher than becoming president of the USA.
Test cricket at it's best
Probably the best behind the wicket catching line up in test cricket … Healy, Taylor, M. Waugh, Pointing.
aqib javed , fleming , chris cairns all had similar action all were great bowlers
Can you please upload Damien Fleming hat trick vs Pakistan in Rawalpindi from Australia tour of Pakistan 1994
Dont have the rights
too bad injuries limited Fleming to 20 tests. on the speed gun he was clocking high 130s to 140 and bowled at a pretty rapid pace
Did Flemmo get back injuries when he played? My back hurts just watching it.
McGrath wicketless is more astonishing to me😊😊
Because Fleming is performing the duty of Macgrtah. This is specialty of Aussies. If one flop other stands and perform better.
Even so, his run rate was phenomenal- below 2 - created the pressure for the others to take wickets. Incidentally check Gillespie’s run rate (nearly 6 😂)
Who is here after cricket was invented?
This pair of commentators reminds me of Cricket 04
The king of swing
90s kids best bowler fleming , mcgrath ,shanewarne..
Oh wow videos been out for 40 minutes and only one person has said that their first
Indians were sleeping most probably
0:15
Perfect
That jump affected more bounce from the pitch
👌👌👌
Anyone remember that - SACHIN hit the ball and Fleming tried to field it by leg and his Boot got tored..
I still remember that scene.
I always wonder why Fleming did not play more cricket, why he retired earlier? He could have easily played the 2003 world cup
@@soulsphere9242 O yes that's right. That's probably the main reason

Could've had even a better career if he doesn't have to compete with other talents in Australian cricket
Yes, a real shame: McGrath, Gillespie, Kasprowicz & then Brett Lee!
Had injury problems too
Stuart Mcgill
Another one in shadows of Shane warne
More than great bowling, it was reckless batting
