    Flag pole repair ASMR, who knew! Thank you for the video, I inherited a property with a flag pole and am ignorant on it so thank you for taking the time to review the basics.

    As a long time flag flyer it's important to place the hooks slightly farther apart than the grommets . Leave a little bit of slack in the rope between the grommets. That way the flag is pulled tight. This prevents sag in the flag. It flies much better.

    Thank you Adrienne. Could you please also show how the snap hook covers are attached. Does the snap hook go inside the cover and then feed the rope through as you demonstrate here? Or do we feed the cover through the rope first? Or do we do everything you just demonstrated and then place the cover over the snap hook at the end?

    • @Flagandbanner
      @Flagandbanner  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great suggestion. To answer your question, you would put the cover over the snap hook and then thread the rope through.

    Great video! What about when we are flying a second flag underneath? How do we connect the two flags?

    • @Flagandbanner
      @Flagandbanner  ปีที่แล้ว

      You could use a double snap hook to connect the two flags in the center or you can use the same method with the second flag leaving a few inches between the two flags.

    Hi! I thought I'd ask where do you position the halyard knot if it is not tied between the two snap hooks?

      Hi, yes, in our how to replace your rope video, Grady gives some good advice on putting your snap hooks on to get the best placement for you flag. I have the beginning of the spot starting at this link: th-cam.com/video/JKZXF36A_hQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7y089qZqbRl2E30p&t=274

    The pole and rope was there when I purchased the home. I tried my best to do it but it’s Droopy, what did I do wrong

    • @Flagandbanner
      @Flagandbanner  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If your rope is drooping, you should be able to pull the rope more taut (or tighter) and then wrap it around your cleat to hold it.
      One way to help keep your rope in good order is to take your flag down if you're going to experience heavy rains/storms. When your flag gets super wet, the material will start pull down on your rope. Storm winds also whip the flag around and will eventually keep pulling on your rope.
      Watch for fraying, if your rope breaks, depending on how tall your pole is, it could cost more to replace the rope because of renting lifting equipment. When you are ready to replace your rope, we have a video to help make the transition easier: th-cam.com/video/JKZXF36A_hQ/w-d-xo.html

    Where can I buy this kit

    • @Flagandbanner
      @Flagandbanner  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, we don't have the rope and snaps in a kit because there are just too many combinations. But we do have options to buy the rope by the size of your pole which you can find here: www.flagandbanner.com/products/halyard-rope-by-flagpole-height-white-nylon.asp

    Do yall know if they make a pole that holds 3 flags

    • @Flagandbanner
      @Flagandbanner  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lots of poles can hold 3 flags, however, I haven't seen any that house mounted. If you are using an in-ground flagpole, you can add more snap hooks to add more flags. You may need to go down a flag size to fit them all and look appropriate for the poles size.
