My biggest tip is you don't need to hoard 15 of every item. I did this and it cost me a lot of gald. Gels in this game heal a set amount unlike in other games where it is a percentage. Apple.gels for example only heal 400 HP while a lemon gel heals 2000 and so on. Items will outlive their usefulness.
As a series veteran, I obsessively started my hoard of gels from the beginning of the game. But it took me 20 hours to glance at what my Orange Gels actually DID this time around since they got rid of the TP gauge. I felt like such an idiot. Read the info on all your usable items, guys. So many times I muscled through with like 10 CP while exploring dungeons because I wanted to explore everything and...i could have used any of the 15 orange gels in my inventory the entire time.
Unless collectibles or materials everything else has a 15 item count cap, a common trope among tales games, which I find it to be a good thing, as a way to avoid easy exploitation of bosses.
I’m pretty annoyed that Bandai have delays for the collectors edition, but luckily they had the common sense to send out free digital download codes to people so we can play while we wait on the collectors edition to come.
Just got this. I played some of the older tales games (like symphonia) and played a bit of Berseria, but not properly played one of these in years. I actually wanted to get the Persona 5 musou game, but I found a copy of this for 16 quid, so picked it up. Thought I'd come and see some tips vids to help me hit the ground running. I know they can have quite complex battle systems. PS: have you played Scarlet Nexus yet? I just got that as well. Really reminds me of the Platinum games, switch exclusive "Astral; Chain" although I think that's likely just aesthetic, as astral chain is an incredibly unique game. Speaking of Astral Chain though, I really hope it gets a PC port. Seriously great game that needs to see more players than just people that own a Switch.
fights to fight ? I didn't understand that can you please make a video explaining what it means to fight a fight ? am so confused and so is my grandma we both are looking at each other confused and we farted at the same time too
Nah im deleting the Game im just not having fun after 5-6 hours of spamming the same attacks and watching the healthbars of enemy’s go down of these tanky ass boring enemy’s
Tip: there is no fall damage. So go crazy and try to brake a leg.😁👍
Slow down that leg!
Random fish guy: my leg!
You are a god send....I love games that don't have fall damage. I can't tell you how much time was saved on AC Odyssey after getting 20 sync points
I found this out the fun way. Lol.

Sounds like Star Ocean and Legend of Legaia in one game.
This isn’t a “tips” video. You literally tell us basic stuff, they explain within the first hour.
Stop Hatin Bruh🤦🏾😑

Thanks for the video 👍
do u need to have played the previous games to understand the story?
No, you don't. Tales of Arise, like most Tales games, is standalone and doesn't require prior knowledge.
@@EriesAston yes. Very much like Final Fantasy, unless noted, non of the games are connected
You must have played all previous 16 games or it’s a RIP
No need to play the previous games as its a standalone game.
Most Tales games are in their own univserse/timeline, so no. This is a pretty good starting for new comers too since the battle system is pretty easy.
one of the most useless guides out there. next thing he gonna say .TIP: you can equip armor and weapons from the menu
2:05 WTF IS GHAAAAALD?

Gold-> Gald .....makes sense XD
OMG Hi! :D
English voice lips sync is bad but overall great game
Jrpg. It's pretty much a thing and reason why. I'm sure you knew this but for anyone else.... It's just part of jrpg's mostly and try to over look it.
