The gap at the end of the video between wall and sign left me speechless your first shot you nailed it. Gold star for you my friend. Amazing stick work. Great video.
I think if this industry is to survive there needs to be more support for anonymity. Nobody wants to get into a hobby tha requires all this work ahead of time, they just want to pick up an rtf and go! Things like wifi connection and biometrics are cool and easier for some, but that's how things eventually become requirements.
When you go to Siberia leave this useless stuff at home! 😂 It's winter time and you'd better review some warm "FPV open finger gloves". Best wishes and a Happy New Year! 😁
I like the fingerprint security on my phone, but it almost never works so I can't use it. We had a finger print time clock at my work too but had to get rid of it because it couldn't read my fingerprints and it never worked for anyone 100% of the time.
It would disarm since the switch state passes through the module then to the radio's computer, unless they have some system that defaults the channel to on by default, like a special relay or something.
Careful, the FAA will find a way to use that with their remote I.D, to prevent you from even arming your quad. I really don't see a legit use case for a biometric scanner on an R/C controller. If it's a safety thing, a two stage power switch would suffice.
Supposed no1 has reframed this controller to xbox style . Or mixed and matched parts to suit dji fpv game pad style Controller . Surely these tech guys could nut out a solution ?
FAA is watching this and drooling over being able to biometrically link a drone to who is up to shenanigans on the controller side......... I don't like this. (quality work tho.)
In a hobby known for its extensive use of free and open-source software, you guys took the most closed-down controller and made it even more closed-down? 🙄
I had no idea this was what Kappercino was up to! Good to see that face again.

Wow.. thats Chad from Flitest. Oh the good old days nice to see him still in the hobby.
Chad also founded Rotor Riot
That little flex at 15:17 pretty sick. The whole line was butter, but that impromptu tree gap made it for me.
OK I know the fingerprint reader was cool... but Drew's flights were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!
one of the best rotor riot videos in a long time
Some next level nerd stuff going on here and I love it! Hackmade guys are killing it!
Always look forward to Mondays…..only for RR vids and seeing what Drib and the crew come up with. Other than that- FCK mondays haha. Love you guys
Fun experiment great flight too. :)
Can't wait to see some Banggood brand to copy this idea and start selling kits for other radios😂😂
17 minute video out for 11minutes,
Everyone in the comments, "yoooo best video ever!"
its so satisfying to see drib fly....
kapperchinoooooooo
The Ultra Wide FOV option on the DJI Action 2 is just too wide for FPV. I wish people would start using the Wide FOV option.
Smooth and professional 💪🏾
That’s awesome man I can’t wait to get my drone and start flying. I’m getting in as many hours in the sim in the meantime though.
That’s a awesome concept. I’m surprised one of these transmitter companies hadn’t produced that yet.
Well ain’t this wild. A video from not too long ago featuring Chad and I missed it!? Thank goodness for video suggestion
What a huge fingerprint scanner but it is fun to watch
Love your videos
Great video!
Just link an other switch to this channel(arm) and you can fly without using the rr-manipulated switch.
If you don't want anyone to be able to fly your quad, you can just learn to fly Mode 3 or Mode 4 :D
Or don't let them get ahold of your gear.🤷
Awesome Video!!!
Awesome video sir
So extra but worth
And yes everyone is envious because this is your job! Life is not fair!!! At all!!!! Now I’ll go and press the like button.
Have to give you that, something about adding biometrics to stuff is cool!

What!? The GAP is rejecting Drib, cuz they don't jeans in your size? "You're too large!" PRICELESS! Oh baby! 😘💖💓
KING LEVEL
Way to go RR...just give the FAA more ideas for stuff we have to register...:(...like our FP..

this is the next things radiomaster and TBS is going to implement into their next version of radio.... i just know it
awesome stuff, but something is off with your Hd cam Drew, I saw loads of weird stuff and shakes
What happens if the fingerprint module were to die in mid flight? Does it stay armed or disarm?
Well its powered off the radio battery, so the whole radio would be dead.
It would disarm since the switch state passes through the module then to the radio's computer, unless they have some system that defaults the channel to on by default, like a special relay or something.
Everything runs off of the controller battery. See all the gory details here... th-cam.com/video/Y60LyhSrLJg/w-d-xo.html
@@ChadKapper I just meant if a component died in the fingerprint module making it fail. I saw that it's powered from the radio battery. 👍
now ur forcing criminals to cut your thumb off when they steal your gear.) Zoroe we need a tim and eric reel for this one.....

The future!
can you do a vid on how get audience mode i try so many time and the dji vid doest work
Wild 😜
There is another fingerprint scanner on the desk. I wonder what that is...
Anyone know what monitor he is using, the nice wide silver one?
Could have been full canvas OSD instead !! One can dream.
Is there are christmas giveaways 😁❤?
The quad was auto rotating, it fluttered down a bit :D
Cool
Huuu súper saludos 🖖
they shouldve kept all the wiring inside
Junk in the trunk downtown 😂😂 and first like lmao slackers witht heir first second third 😂😂😂 gotteeem
Ok, I turn off lock for my phone, cause it's annoying and you create locking for your controller, lol
What happens when the battery dies?

Please try the tinyhawk 2 freestyle by emax
nice concept but it's kinda overkill.
Facial recognition will be the way to go.
Supposed no1 has reframed this controller to xbox style . Or mixed and matched parts to suit dji fpv game pad style Controller . Surely these tech guys could nut out a solution ?
*surprised
I can understand the concept for a car or firearm. But for a drone ? What’s the point.
Would be easy to bypass
The idea is really cool but If someone actually wanted to use it they could just unplug it
That wouldn’t work. The default state is disarmed.
Oh noes, arming with props on while on the bench!
can now patent !!!🇧🇷🇧🇷😂
Best way to keep people from flying your fpv drone? Have an FPV drone.
hey i fly with you
FAA is watching this and drooling over being able to biometrically link a drone to who is up to shenanigans on the controller side......... I don't like this. (quality work tho.)
real nerd shit
I was doing this next week when my finger print scanner comes, not gonna have a 1 of a kinda radio anymore 😢😂
Share your build with us when it's done! I'd love to see it.
@@ChadKapper ah thanks man I’ll share it with you once I’m done!
ummm... why?
Ummmm no thank you!
wait wait wait djis controller has a fan in it? what are they trying to do with it? break the chip clockspeed world record for a controller

i got first like 😂😂
@@DanishStallion hahah idk 🤷♂️ but I’m in the video 🤙🤟 brown shirt lmao 🤣
@@julianfunny1 haha i am pretty sure you won by a few weeks then LOL 2 thumbs up for you! subbed you 4months ago,
But you can just rebind the radio? ._.
Ayee 3rd haha
yooooooooo
Kinda pointless
I don't get the Point of this? Will it help the hobby or just make it more complicated
Pimpin The Boss mans new Channel? Lame
What happens if you unplug the fingerprint module? Will it just not allow you to arm?
No. The default state is an open circuit for the arm switch. All the details are in the HackMakeMod episode.
