Rafting the mighty Zambezi

  • It's also called the 'Slam-bezi' and this river will leave you with no doubt as to its nickname. Africa's most famous big water river (and perhaps the world's) is loaded with big Class IV and V rapids that rarely allow a raft through without wreaking havoc. Add in crocodiles and hippos and BIG is the only way to describe this experience.

    Sitting here stoned in New Zealand, remembering the full day white water rafting I did 25 years ago and found this. This is exactly what its like! We however, due the full river on the last week before the changeover to the high season ( water height) were able to do the full river.

    Terrifying. All of them made it out of the water before the falls? Absolutely terrifying!

      they start at bottom of the falls inthe Boiling POt.

      sorry the music is not to your liking. I believe most playback devices have buttons to control the volume and sometimes even a 'mute' botton, that should solve the issue ;-)
