So track 2, "Kettering", likely refers to "Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre" (aka MSK or MSKCC), a cancer treatment and research institution in New York (Sloan and Kettering were two different people). I guess in New York, to most people it would mean "The Big Cancer Hospital".
i remember not being that much into this one when i heard it a while ago, but i like to come back to albums to see if i change my mind so i'm gonna do it for this also since i see you very affected by it
It’s funny seeing you wear a Merzbow shirt, because last Wednesday I used my hour and a half of study hall to listen to Pulse Demon solely because of how you said the ending made you feel.
idk if it's considerable weird per se but lately i've been loving boris and more specifically their live album with merzbow rock dream, it goes hard as fck, highly recommended!!
Idk if i agree on it being weird, certainly unique indie art rock for 00s being a template in terms of production for modern indie stuff lik3 boygenious and etc but calling it weird is a reach tho. But i like thay u can talk abt it for 51 min honestly, love those sort of long insightful vids
It's a side project (Michael Gira) did after (SWANS) broke up and went on a very long Hiatus after (Soundtracks for the Blind), which originally was supposed to be their final album.

Have you ever listened to or heard of the album (The Body Lovers / The Body Haters)?

Great review by the way. I should definitely check out (The Antlers) at some point.
Have you heard of (Helium) by (Pram)?
