The pub you went to is a great place. The people and the food there is good. I remember I went in at about 4pm one day and I asked for some food. They had just opened and they didn’t have exactly what I wanted on the menu but they literally told me to wait just a bit, they went to the store and bought the stuff, came back, prepared it and served the food to me. I was like 😯 that’s some service right there. I like that place quite well.

How normally u get thai bats if you say u never exchanged cash before? U withdraw from atm from debit card? Isnt it more costly due to comissions and currency convertion?

Definitely both khaoson and soi 7. Soi 7 if you want forsure company by the ladies, expect to buy a drink or two tho. And if you want to get super drunk and get wild go to khaoson and hang with the backpackers, always a good time

You shouldn’t be carrying 37,000 baht around with you, do the sensible thing and change only what you need for each day - ive been travelling to Thailand since 2005,
Some 31 trips and I’ve always taken cash £ - never once had a problem, never use hotel safes because all hotels can open every safe in every room with a pass code number/ key.
I’ve always locked my money & other valuables in my zip free sansomite case, you would need a chainsaw to open it - just a few tips my friend, from an experienced thai traveler
