Today, two characters cross paths in a mall after hours. Only problem is, one of them is meant to be there, and the other one is an intruder. Vanessa, the bunny dawning bouncer of Security Breach, against Spamton G. Spamton, the award losing salesman since 1997! In this match, which copycat will catch the other? And as the night progresses, who’s to say they aren’t alone?

vanessa a is the secondary antagonist of five nights at freddy’s security breach. she is the head of security in the freddy fazbear mega pizzaplex, and can be seen annoyed hunting the player down as they sneak, duck, and shoot their way to 6am. however, during the night, vanessa switches into her alter ego, vanny, donning a bunny suit like her idol, the late william afton, and becoming lethal when encountered. in many of the endings of the game, vanny and vanessa end up perishing in many brutal ways, such as being thrown off the side of the mega pizzaplex or being torn to shreds by the game’s s.t.a.f.f. bots.
spamton g spamton is a secondary antagonist in deltarune chapter two. he used to be the number one salesman on nineteen eighty seven thanks to the voice on his phone, but when the voice strangely vanished one day, he was left with nothing and was removed from his place in the mansion. now he’s a dumpster dwelling mad man, begging you to make a deal with him to make him a “big shot” by loading him into the robot in the queen’s basement. his getup is directly modeled off of one of the mansion’s employees to lure players into a false trust in order to get his grubby little hands on his [hyperlink blocked]. he also embodies every internet spam link, making him speak in mostly references and sampled text between his already insane (and usually self-projecting) rambles.
sammy lawrence is the main antagonist of bendy and the ink machine chapter two. he appears after the player finds the keys to get out of the building, tying them up as a sacrifice to the ink demon hes devoted his new life to. he dawns a mask of bendy the dancing devil, a monster that now roams the abandoned joey drew studios, saying he will be set free if he appeases the demon. however, he is met with the demon immediately attacking him, only for him to lash out at the player for the betrayal from his god.
mephiles the dark is the main antagonist of 2006’s sonic the hedgehog. he takes the form of shadow the hedgehog, and is the will of solaris the sun god. his plan is to release iblis by making princess elise, who famously is a human who kissed sonic the hedgehog, to cry, thus allowing him to form with iblis and become solaris. this game was not very good and he was never seen again after this appearance.
mukuro ikusaba. the sixteenth student, lying hidden somewhere in this school. the one they call the ultimate despair. watch out for her. she dresses up as junko enoshima, her twin, in order to trick the students of hopes peak academy. she is the ultimate soldier pretending to be the ultimate fashionista. she is killed in the first act of her game by her own sister’s trap, used only as a pawn in her twin’s much larger scheme. her body is used as a decoy and exploded, used purely to confuse the students in the last class trial of who the true mastermind of the killing game is.

Q: Why did you reuse Spamton?
A: Honestly, I felt like Spamton deserved a battle that portrayed him more chaotic than any battle had before. This Spamton I feel is much more in tune with the silly dumpster man we see in Deltarune’s second chapter.
Q: Shouldn’t this have been a Deltarune Rap Battle?
A: I don’t think so. This battle isn’t just Spamton vs. Vanessa, it’s The Copycat Royale. Sorry for the clickbait!
Q: What’s the connection here?
A: I wanted to make a royale of video game antagonists that roughly take on the appearance of another character. Vanessa dresses as a bunny, Spamton dresses as Swatch, Sammy dresses as Bendy, Mephiles takes on the shape of Shadow, Mukuro dresses as Junko. Is it loose? Admittedly, yes. This battle was initially going to be released on December 23rd as a gift to myself, but you know how these things go, so April First was a fitting enough occasion for such a concept!
Q: Why use these characters specifically?
A: Firstly, I wanted to. It’s my channel, and you shall suffer whatever brainrot I cast on thee. Secondly, I felt like there was a subtle story that could be told connecting everyone here. Vanessa is a guard, Spamton is an intruder. Spamton gives you a key in the trash, Sammy knocks you out after you get a key in Bendy Chapter 2. Sammy turns out the lights, Mephiles shows up in the shadows. Danganronpa dun dun dun du-dun dun dun dun
Q: Why else did you make this battle?
A: I wanted to push myself and do a lot of new things. This is my first proper ‘royale’ with a lot of fun and unique characters! Balancing the writing for five/seven characters with very different tones, 2D rigged animation, 3D motion capture, blending together the instrumentals for them all…
Q: When’s the next battle?
A: Sorry for such a long break! These things can take so long to complete. This project began production in February, 2023! However, I’ve been spending these months getting ready to release a lot more battles soon. You shouldn’t have to wait more than a month for the next one! All tiers of TH-cam members are especially lucky, as they get to listen to the next battle’s audio THIS WEEK! They’ve been able to listen to this project’s audio since December, and there’s plenty more where that came from if you wanted to join the channel!

I feel like all the characters here don't have THAT much to work with in terms of a rap battle, but they all came through with great bars and personality. Gotta give a special shout-out to my guy, Ed (voice of Sammy). He was a little out of his element given that he doesn't really rap much, but he did an excellent job!

This was so 100% worth the wait. The fake matchup got me disappointed, but you got me, and I'm so glad you did.
I love all the small details in the beginning of the credits there, like how it keeps shifting between Vanessa and Vanny each time a name is added or changed, or how it gets slightly faster each time so that when Muldrow Ikusaba switches to Tsumugi Shirogane it's barely visible for a split second.
I feel like Mukuro won but holy jesus this battle SLAPPED!!!

I haven't seen anyone mention this sample, I love the reference to the Austin Powers vs James Bond battle with the iconic "you look a lot more blonde in your movie baby" but swapped with "Vanny", absolutely genius

It's been a while since I've seen a Rap Battle Royale, and seeing that this was made by you got me even more hyped. Spamton won, his verse somehow is more better than all 3 of his verses in spamton vs Roy, and that battle is an A tier battle. You weren't joking when this battle was going to knock your socks off. Oh my god this battle is epic. Spamton’s verse was God tear the amount of references he had to pop culture was epic. I loved the entire segment of him rapping. From the bite of 87 to the MatPat reference to all the reaction channels.

Holy shit I don't care I've already commented on this, after so many re-watches I just realized as Sammy's verse starts you can faintly hear the audio log sound from the games, and just before his verse ends, specifically before his line where he says "Can I get an amen?" You can hear it again as a reference to his first audio log, fucking hell the detail in this battle is incredible
I can't stress enough how much I love this one, this is your best work by far imho, not to mention how amazingly you always capture the aesthetics of different games in your animation and editing.
Now this is absolutely epic. So many characters and every one of them feels well used, well voiced, and has good lines. Quite a lengthy battle and it goes so hard.
I loved this rap! I don't mind characters being reused if they fit! And I love it when raps have more than 2 characters! It's usually more fun! So above all this was wonderful!

Everything about this is flawless! The visuals, the VA casting and performances, the writing, the concept ... the list goes on ... it's truly a MASTERPIECE! The only thing I wish from this rap battle is that it was against Vanny and Sammy originally with Spamton popping in out of nowhere. I would honestly either switch the order of Spamton and Sammy or Spamton, Sammy, and Mukuro. As our loveable pop up ad, I could see him appearing first and being that surprise guy. Plus with how much content there was for everyone, Spamton could've had an EVEN BETTER verse if he had just been able to get more from more opponents.
Also, if Spamton came after Mephilles you honestly could've had some of the Real Time Fandub from Sonic '06 in there.

I got so distracted with Spamton's amazing verse thinking he was gonna sweep the whole thing only for everyone else to show up and completely upend the whole thing, it felt like orchestrated chaos and I loved every second of it. Spamtons verse is so addictive to me,honestly might be my favourite verse ever from you,which is a HIGH bar.
I'm gonna order the verses from best to 'worst'((in quotes because nobody did bad at all,every verse was awesome)) now,but all of em were GREAT
1: Junko/Mukuro--just..the flow..dear lord. Everything about this part was fantastic,and both destroyed the others by a damn mile.
2: Spamton- Like I said,one of my favourite verses from you, all the references and clips were SO DAMN GOOD.
3: Sammy- Love his voice,it was really soothing at the start tbh,and his disses and flow were pretty good
4/5: Vanny/Mephiles- These two are honestly pretty even for me. Mephiles had cool disses, Vanny had pretty great flow imo, both sounded good and all that. Dunno who to place where for these guys,so yeah.

As someone who’s made a list for every time a Danganronpa character appears in a rap battle, I’m unsure if I should list this one under having Mukuro or Tsumugi, or just Tsu since it’s implied she was simply cosplaying as Mukuro with the last line.
Also, you cooked. The connections are extremely finicky and as fragile as glass, but it doesn’t matter when every verse was so well done. We have a fire standard verse with Vanessa and Mephiles, a crazy drug trip with Spamton, a slower style with Sammy, only for Mukuro to come in at the end and bring it all together. It feels like there’s something here for everyone. My only complaint is that it wasn’t longer.
