spamton, full name spamton g. spamton, is a darkner from the cyber world. he is initially encountered in cyber city, where he is fought as a miniboss. he appears as a diminutive puppet that wears yellow and pink glasses that sometimes change colors and a long-sleeved black v-neck shirt, with black hair that is slicked back, appearing similar to a pompadour. spamton was once a down on his luck salesman that existed in the cyber city alongside his friends called the addisons, one day, he made a very special call and soon began to make a ton of sales. the addisons abandoned him out of jealousy and spamton moved up into the queen’s mansion. unfortunately, one day his empire came crashing down on him, making him now live in the trash zone alone. spamton’s speech patterns now reflect what he has become, spam, often times sentences cutting off or interjected with other sentences. finding him, he asks you the player to infiltrate queen’s mansion once more and get him an item to make him big and free him from his strings, whatever that means. once the player gets the item, a disk from inside a strange machine, spamton loads himself onto the disk, telling the player to put it back into the robot. doing so creates spamton neo, a massive hybrid of spamton and the robot. spamton turns on you, trying to get your soul, before you and your party put an end to his plans. it seems he will never be able to break his strings after all. his last action is to become an item for you, becoming the dealmaker glasses, hoping that someday you’ll be able to break your own strings.
don't hug me i'm scared is a british puppet show created by becky and joe from this is it collective; it stars three puppets: red guy, yellow guy, and duck. the series is about the three friends being educated about life's most important lessons (creativity and time for example). the episodes are notorious for their usual gore, and mostly famous for the teachers, and the phrase dissing the color green. roy gribbleston is yellow guy's perverted and malicious father. he is the main antagonist of the don't hug me i'm scared series. he is the base of many theories, the biggest one being that he is the money man. he has "uploaded" a video to youtube called "rat eats egg." he directed a series which the puppets watched called craig's big day. he is most likely the person who has been controlling the teachers in each episode, as he is seen approaching the machine with red guy at it in episode 6 and is trying to regain control over it before red guy unplugs it.

There are so many hints to William afton the in toy Freddy vs Jerry the word criminal was in purple text. In wikisans vs mandelterine there was another criminal a.k.a William Afton reference. And I will watch every second of this over and over again until I find another.

I still feel like many things flies over my head when I listen to this, especially in Spamton's verses, nice I found explanation to at least one of them.

the reference to the acid lake theory, pulls the strings and makes them ring, and F1 line alone slammed this guy across the universe and back. the flow managed to be weird and glitchy while also being so smooth

This is why I love this series. Even when you come up with unorthodox matchups for these characters, you manage to make up for it with writing that is not only good but in character, AND amazing editing. I cannot state just how insane and over the top Spamton's verses are, especially by his final verse.
Man, I can tell there was some serious passion put into this! Also Spamton’s third verse won him the battle. Great stuff, keep it up!

Deltarune is an RPG you play on a screen, RBG (usually RGB) is how most screens display color (Red, Blue, Green) separating the Green it’s just RB G, RB would stand for Rap Battle, G is his middle initial (Spamton G. Spamton), and you know the rest.

Roy only lost the last one because Ryota was allowed to get a third verse in and he wasn't, IMO. This one was much more even, though Spamton still takes it.
I never expected Roy's voice to sound like that, but it still fits so well.
This flow and the lyrics gave me chills and the Spamton's last verse is so good, what an incredible performance, your work is amazing
As if this month wasn't stacked enough when it comes to rap battles. That Spamton 2nd verse might be one of the most visually impressive moments of the whole community. Congrats dude!

There is actually a bit of a connection to this matchup! Both being off-putting puppet salesmen looming in the background and selling… questionable products, to say the least.
Not that a battle needs a connection to be a good battle, I just enjoy taking a weird and non conventional route!

Seriously, tho, this is actually fantastic. I got almost every, no, every rerefrence, Tibbs and ENNWAY did so good with VA. The editing/animation is incredible. The decision of making some of Spamton's interruptions lines from prev battles was a fantastic and fucking genius writing move. Spamton won BTW. Sorry, Roy.

The editing here was really impressive, especially with Spamton's later verses. Roy was great too especially for the first verse. I probably have to go with Spamton for the win though I haven't played Deltarune yet so I don't know his character

I genuinely believe that your work on line-delivery and general lyrics are impeccable! Not only is it unique and keeps to the character well throughout all of your battles that I've seen, but it's also cleverly written with a ton of double-entendre's, second-meanings, and references!
The voice work in some battles is a little questionable in my opinion, which is why I'm posting this comment here, as I believe Spamton is the best example for this. (Personally, I believe that The Stupendium has a far better impression of the character, if you can manage to get in contact with him. He does get involved in Rap Battles over on Freshy Kanal's channel.)
Your editing is honestly crazy impressive, and lines up with the rap battle beautifully! Overall, I genuinely not only have very little complaints about it, but I am also greatly impressed! Not to mention the litany of sprite-work that you had made just for these videos, which is admirable in it's own right!
I discovered your channel rather lately, but as a fan of Rap Battles for a long time, aswell as a writer myself...I can confidently say that your work is heavily underrated, and especially in terms of clever writing and incredible, actual and vibing music, it compares and even surpasses that of ERB!

Thank you for your comment! On the topic of voices, I tried to ground Spamton a bit more than others might have, and the voice I chose in the end best fit the Spamton I was writing for I feel. But very few of the characters have a canon voice to go off of, so it opens a lot of interpretation that others may not agree with. Totally valid!

Honestly, Spamton is a bit hard to diss. His backstory is pretty vague, and there’s not really a lot you can say about him that Roy didn’t. Roy was dealt a pretty bad hand from the start.
In Roy’s first line when he says “wakey wakey” it’s a reference to the forgotten series with the same name I bet
2:50 and beyond are straight fire. just complete fire all the way through from 2:50 to the end of the song

Also, I was noticing all of the references to previous battles featuring Don't Hug Me I'm Scared Characters at around 0:46. I noticed
On the third Screen from the Left, there's Eddie's "Poochee and Pansy vs. Don't Hug Me I'm Scared"
On the Fourth Screen from the Left, there's your "Ryota Mitarai vs Roy" from Danganronpa Month.
On the Screen to the Far Right, there's the Duck's Verse from your "Can Your Pet vs. The Littlest Penguin".
I looked up "don't hug me im scared rap battle" and found that the Screen between your 2 Battles features "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared vs Candle Cove" from Killer Rap Battles.
Can't figure out what the other 2 Screens show.
At 1:05, you replay a portion from the aforementioned "Ryota vs Roy" Battle.
Then, at 3:04, 3 of your Undertale/Deltarune Rap Battles you made before Undertale/Deltarune Rap Battle series appeared, including, in order, "Monster Kid vs Whomp", "Wooloo vs Ralsei", and "Berdly vs. Know-It-All". The 3 Battles of yours which were Undertale/Deltarune Rap Battles, but weren't part of either Series which weren't referenced were "Alice Angel vs Mettaton", "Dr. Alphys vs Grim Matchstick", and "Bill Cipher vs Jevil."
