Hi, honest opinion: for carry on go for a mor practical open and close luggage, softer to squeeze in the plane, and lighter, like a Pegase 55. For checking in luggage, an aluminum, non zipper Rimowa is great

I just got an original cabin but these 'flex dividers' are such an odd design. Good that they compress your clothes, but odd that the entire 'block' just slides and moves around as you try to close it 🥲 ... Do you have any tips or tricks for what works for you?

You mentioned you have a Cabin Plus which you never had to check it and taken it as carry-on. Based on the measurements I've seen it looks like it over the limit of a lot of airlines. Do you think you've just got lucky? Or is it some other factor? (e.g. You pay extra for carry-on, only flying on certain flights/planes, etc). Thanks!

Disagree about Rimowa. I have the silver carry on and I instantly regretted buying it. I really wish I had bought one before the LVH acquisition. . The wheels are great but I think the handle feels cheap and unsteady. Also, and this is my personal feeling, but the bags are so ostentatious. I really did not like the attention it drew to me while in transit. Taking it to developing countries like Vietnam especially made me feel like an asshole. It made me realize that I much prefer a cheaper bag that draws less attention and if I do spring for something luxury, I prefer something more understated.

The rimowa for an overhead carry on is decent esp if you get one on sale, even more at duty free. I would not have a rimowa check in though
