The best way to identify an alt art is by checking if the card has borders. I noticed that they'll feature the full art without being obstructed by the gray borders
Thanks for the video. Every pack has 6 common/uncommon old reprints, 3 common/uncommon new RB01 cards, 1 rare (either reprint or RB01), 1 promo and 1 SR/SEC card. Which is neat but does mean that getting playsets of the new cards isn't great odds, especially the rares.
That was my experience as well. I opened 2 boxes of EX4 and all of my alt arts were on the left side. Then, my buddy pulls an alt art from the right side and the secret rare. There are always exceptions to every rule.
My only issue with the set is the more 'common' reprint of the alternate art Pulsemon which was originally a prize card for winning a Pre-Release (I forget which one, maybe Double Diamond?) I'm not a fan of reprinting alternate art cards...
What I dislike about this in Digimon is that you can’t tell what pack they came from. Like how do I know that blitz omnimon is from rb01 or bt1 or whatever it was? I understand the need for the code but they need to put what it was in on the side info. That agumon isn’t even new. It’s a promo one that they decided to give another code…..just some weird decisions
There is a just a same difference with the reprints, they DO have the 02 block over the card number, for example Lilithmon which does not have a block number otherwise

The rb01 agumon isnt new, its a promo that got an alt art/ reprint and still has the promo number above in text on the card.
It actually kinda new because this card locked in with greymon I think the promo #9 is a 2k boost no restrictions

Ngl I didnt realize that EVERY card in the set is foil...
That changes everything...and changes my wallet..
Not only that but the SR reprints are also textured now making them much nicer than the original prints.

That's not even a rule. It's a he said she said nonsense basically.
I just opened a box, got one of each memory boost, an Omnimon Zwart, Omnimon and couple others i dont remember how to spell.

This set seems like a missed opportunity, why not make new arts for the reprints to make the set unique and not just a chaff box

So you only really get 3 guaranteed new cards per pack and rest reprints…what a waste
