    South Africa is really blessed, from PGMs all the way to oil, remember we were once by the largest gold producer. It is with due diligence from those in power that we’ll rise. We’re a country in a strategic position to contribute to the world at large. Our regional position also lies in that it is far easier to sell brand SA products to the rest of Africa, we must leverage this. And now with the global influence of Amapiano we really got a huge push. We really need strategic leaders who are pragmatic and selfless, the rest will be history. Anyway thank you Mpho for this insightful video, it’s time to realise our goldmine.

    Angola's GDP coming from oil looks sexy but it is dangerous. Most oil nations want to reduce their oil dependence because the renewables gang is pushing for green and clean energy. Yes let's sell the oil but let's not make the mistake of depending on it too much. Our economy must be as diversified as possible.

Project Management is Human resource issue, a very important one and am sure there are hundreds of qualified people out there. Right now we need the will to take the direction. . .

    Bro, this is the same problem Africa has at large. Africa has more than enough resources for it's population and can feed/donate to the rest of the world and still be left with an excess that our generations can live on. My argument is that it's not only about removing ANC, ZANU PF, or any of these revolutionary parties but we should do an engine overhaul of the whole system. These western ideologies and systems of "democracy" and voting in elections have proven not to work in Africa at large.

    I had never heard of Arise before, and I like the unique positive approach. But iyoh the environmental applications are real. SA is a water scarce country. More communities, including mine, are becoming more dependent on underground water. Just image the contamination. I don't believe we want to be in a future where you or we have to choose between "oil and gas" or water. Just imagine. But the comments are agreeing on this approach. So I should prepare myself to drink petroleum water 👍

    • @petersmangalisongoma2013
      @petersmangalisongoma2013 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      South Africa has no water problem, it has leadership problem........ We are engulfed by the Indian ocean and the Atlantic Ocean plus many rivers that run from sea to sea........... Sea water can be purified at more or less the same cost of purifying sewer water that we have in our taps. Israel is doing this on a very large scale....... The spillages of oil that you talk about can be prevented and/or minimized.

    • @quetonlangeveld3476
      @quetonlangeveld3476 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @petersmangalisongoma2013 Well, I kinda agree, but I'm not under a cloud of idiocracy. First, sea water is not drinkable. The more you drink, the more dry your throat gets, and water purification is feasible, but actually doing it, ask yourself, y don't fi6rst world government do it. just do some research on the subject. You will understand I it won't work for millions of people at once. The application is too huge.

    • @quetonlangeveld3476
      @quetonlangeveld3476 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @petersmangalisongoma2013 and rivers don't start from sea and end at sea. It's fresh water. It usually starts from a mountain source coming "from an underground" source ending up at the sea

    • @quetonlangeveld3476
      @quetonlangeveld3476 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @petersmangalisongoma2013 and i live next to a river, I can literally see it drying up. And because of sewage spilling into it upstream, we are taking alternative measures in getting water, e.g, water from borehole "underground"

    • @quetonlangeveld3476
      @quetonlangeveld3476 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @petersmangalisongoma2013 and 90% of my province tap is not really safe for consumption because of old ailing infrastructure, so there i agree, the government is failing us. But your idea, just imagine

    The comrades will stick around to write themselves into these industries. SA will just have to deal with cronies who take them on board.

    The ANC saw this and was like
    "We don't care"
    "Where's the Cigars! "

    Ah, what a delightful predicament we find ourselves in, my dear colleague. The ANC, a bastion of intellect and governance, seems to have become a breeding ground for the intellectually challenged. Coalition governance, a concept as elusive as a mirage, fails to bring order to our provinces and towns. Only the DA manages a semblance of competence amidst the chaos. Yes, Cape Town may have its troubles, but at least our homes remain safe from the perils of hijackings and kidnappings. Quite the curious state of affairs, wouldn't you agree?

    Hi guys, can you please clarify the source where the stats of gas and oil come from. Is it Petroleum Agency SA? And if it is, can you please share the name of the report or a link if possible. Humbly asking fellow South A's 🙏🏽

    What I know is if we had all those resources, they would have already exploited them. Shell (Rupert is selling it), Sasol, Another one in Cape Town it changed their maybe to Astron or something have processing capacity. I did Geology prior to Electrical Engineering, those resources do not exist. If these companies have rigs in the North Sea, they would have done it already. PetroSA has no more Gas and imports and resells to Eskom for Survival and only exists coz of those contracts. Why don't these people put actual documents with these words. The ANC messed up so badly that our education system is so bad, people would believe anything, if we had oil, we would not convert it from Coal during the Sanctions in Apartheid which created Sasol.

    Being informative by reading a write up assuming a teleprompter doesn't mean he should be president. Malema has exposed more truths and provided more solutions but it doesn't automatically make him a great presidential candidate.
