Well-tempered Klavier Book I
Performed in one take. Played on the Casio GP-510 using the Hamburg Grand tone, which is sampled from a Steinway concert grand.
This is from the Henle (2007?) edition of the Well Tempered Klavier. There are some slight differences in the final 4 measures from some other editions. This is most audible in the bass in m.26 and 27. In this version, there is a dotted 8th/16th rhythm that moves up by a 5th (m.26 b.3) and down by a 4th (m.27 b.3). Some other editions have a scalar descent in the bass in these two measures.
I recorded the audio directly from the line out of the Casio Hybrid Grand piano and mixed that with a room mic. The microphone used is a Beesneez Shelise tube mic.
Camera used is a Canon M50 with the 15-45mm kit lens. ISO 200, 1/50 shutter, F3.5, shot at 24fps.
Great job, mate!
Looks like GP510 is really good.
Thanks for watching! Yes, the gp510 is a great instrument. The action is awesome, and the sounds are very nice.
A favorite of mine
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Great work!
Thanks!
Beautifully done! It's like you snuck a third hand in there to play all those notes at once. :P
Thanks for watching! It's a lot of notes, for sure.
Very good! Were are you from?
Thanks for watching! I am from the United States. What about you?
@@markandrewpiano I m from Brasil. I live in Goiânia Goiás and study Music in EMAC UFG.
Awesome. I'm in school for piano and audio as well.
What instrument is this?
That's my Casio GP510 Hybrid Piano! I recorded the direct from the piano and using a mic in the room to capture some natural reverb.
@@markandrewpiano Sweet!
I wish more bass sound. Too much treble.
Thanks for watching and for your feedback.
Can you clarify what you mean? Are you referring to the piano tone, audio quality, or the performance?
Thanks again for watching.
