Was I WRONG About The Nitro Deck? The Nitro Deck + is Coming

- The nitro deck is a grip for the Nintendo switch that has gained a ton of popularity over the months. Some really love it some really don’t, I am one who is not a huge fan of it but now that the nitro deck plus has been announced with lots of user feedback in mind how do we feel about it now? Hopefully I can get one of these soon and check it out. Let me know what you think about it in the comments below!

I feel like you have a faulty unit. I very regularly change my Switch out to different joycons/grips, etc. So in and out of the Nitro Deck quite often...zero scratches. Smooth as butter 🤔

I had some problems with the original Nitro Deck release, but after the firmware update, I'm pretty happy, ESPECIALLY with the trigger actuation point setting. No more accidental trigger presses when I BARELY tap them by simply resting my fingers. The space between the sticks and buttons can't be helped, but this thing still beats out basic Joy-Cons any day after the update. I still like my HORI Split Pad, but the Nitro Deck is still good enough for me to enjoy using it when I crave that sense of uniformity.
The original Nitro Deck was not great. It was comfortable for some games, but the rumble and position of the right stick was horrible. The Mobapad M6 HDs have been the only third-party solution that have had no compromises for me.
The mobapad is one of the best options. Those new DOYOKY ones look good too.
The right stick feels fine to me. I think it's the position of the left stick plus the d pad.
The ND plus also has a little more space between the switch unit, and the backsplash of the ND+, to prevent any scratches.
I just got the regular Nitro Deck and really like it. Comfy. Works great with my larger sized hands. No issue with the button placement. Although, I wish it connected directly to HDMI to play on the TV. I understand that's been addressed with the ND+ so I've pre-ordered one of those. Overall, the responsiveness of the ND has been spot on for me. It has not scratched my Switch after several removals. That said, I think giving your honest opinion is terrific. I was able to use your video and try to see if I had some of the same issues. I am impressed with it over the other controllers I have used but you should be commended for an honest review. Not everyone is going to like everything and that is just fine!
It's great that you were real about your opinions. I give a lot of respect for that. However, you lost me on complaining about not getting one sent to you for free. Take L for your viewers. Buy it with your own money and destroy them on the review if it's a bad product. We don't care about the drama or nuances you have with these companies. We care whether or not to buy these things with our own money.
I think you misunderstood why I wanted a review unit. The point is to get it early BEFORE they are released so I can give my opinion before someone spends their money on it. I have no problem buying it. And will if I can’t get one early. As I said in the video. Please don’t get it twisted.
@@DripMediaGaming I get where you are coming from. Basically if a company has that much confidence that a newer model is way better they shouldn’t be scared to work with people that may have had negative feedback on older models. This would’ve been a great opportunity to show and prove that the new model is worthy of a second chance by people who might’ve not liked it.

Great review mate, yep definitely the right stick need to be adjusted like the steam deck better feel when playing shooter games.
I swap between my OLED & V2 day by day and have yet to scratch anything.
Me either people must be slamming it in there cuz mines fine take it out to dock all the time and nothing.

I have the first and I’m very happy about the new features coming, however , HD rumble would go a long way and I have a feeling it’s still the same basic vibration. MOBA pad has hd rumble so I’m sure crked can do it

I didn’t have any problem with mine (no scratch whatsoever) and I even ordered the Hellboy edition. I think is a good product
Same here love my ND and no scratching on the back, just gotta be easy and not slam it in and I 2 got the hellboy edition the art is fire.

Makes sense. Every iteration has flaws from crkd. The only playable design is to turn off the left side back buttons. Never use the right side triggers. Map the back buttons on right side to both r zr triggers. And hold right stick with palm hovering away from the nitro deck. The nitro deck plus still has ergonomic problems when reaching for abxy. Also it's looking far worse an issue on plus. This fix apparently is not allowed on plus. Huh. Wonder why.
@@michealfunickrr3717 I have no issues using the nitro deck. In fact a can actually play longer with the nitro deck then I can with the joycons.

I believe 50% of the video you are talking about how the listen to feedback, but not what they really did. I think the video would be better if you go more to the point and show the improvements more time

Just bought a regular nitro deck I find it really comfortable after going through skull and co/ satisfye/ mumba I like the deck the most can’t wait for nitro deck + also there controller looks cool and unique :)
