I completely agree with you but do you really think Hamas wants to create a multicultural utopia, no. They would build an ethno state with a single religion as well. How can so many people who seemingly support the idea of peace pick a side out of two such despicable ideas. Support peace and a peaceful solution don’t pick a side like the other isn’t hurting as well. Compromise is the only option. You want conflict if you support any side that isn’t advocating for peace which Hamas and the Israeli government both are not. Think about thing’s carefully and don’t just support something based on what your friends think or what you read online. Come to a better understanding of what’s happened here. Mate, James can I tell you. I listened to the caller talk about the kids in Gaxa that looked like his kids, and as a grown man I cried, and cried, and cried. I pray for better days and more hope for that father, his little kids, the kids and families in gaza and all children and families around the world. In 1966 when I came to London from the " Sticks " I took up residence in a YMCA hostel. It was August bank holiday and there were not many people about. I was in the lounge having a cup of tea and was joined by another guest' We got chatting and he told me his name was Adnan Sadak? ( that's what it sounded like )
He told me he came from Palestine and sad "that's where Jesus lived" because that is all I knew.
He told me that soldiers had evicted his family from there home of many generations. The were allowed to take what they could carry. I asked him if they could not complain to the authorities and he said no. The family moved into a hut or tent at the edge of the property and later the were evicted again. He said that the had to leave their " wealth" behind I assumed that this was money or other valuables hidden in the ground; but on reflection it may have been a growing harvest I was astounded and really though he was making this up. He said that the soldiers had full authority and it was believed amongst his people that these soldiers would kick all his people of their lands within years I knew nothing about the middle east and he never mentioned the nationality of the soldiers. I never saw him again as he was obviously a transient overnight guest. It was not until 1967 war that I began to understand what was happening in that region and then that this persons story became more believable

The reasons are threefold. Young people are seeing the unbelievable atrocities play out in real time on their cellphones. (Perhaps the first war of this nature.) Young Americans are now living and working shoulder to shoulder with Arab Americans and are seeing first hand how these atrocities in Gaza are traumatizing them personally. (Their "friends" are absolutely traumatized.) And finally young people have learned a great deal, since October 7th, about the history of the area, and are seeing now that this deranged revenge on Palestinians has actually been "in the cards" for decades. (October 7th gave the Israeli/ Zionist movement the permission to do what it has ALWAYS wanted to do).

Between the timing of Sangitas firing and the fact that she was replaced with someone who parrots Israeli right wing talking points makes this a major issue. I’m a Australian viewer who isn't subscribed to LBC, I enjoy watching TH-cam clips of James' shows. His willingness to use his judgment and openly criticize Israel, regardless of potential consequences, is admirable. I also tuned in to Sangita's show because she's brilliant. It's concerning that she was sacked, especially if it's because she's a woman asking tough questions to Israeli officials. Why aren't male hosts facing the same repercussions for similar actions?

When the UN called the state of israel in 1948, logically they should have called the state of Palestine at the same time. They didn't. Sangrita represented a vocal advocate for truth and solidarity with the populace. However, her role was replaced by an individual who supports Israel’s policies. This change highlights the significant influence that Israel has within the media landscape. I remain hopeful that James, another important voice, will not be similarly replaced.

How often does someone who's at the end of their contract, and not being renewed, Not get the opportunity to sign off from their show? Theres a very real possibility that her contract was up for renewal, but not being informed of tbis beforehand, or having it cut short appears to be because of her heated interview. If your job contract was up for renewal, and you knew beforehand, wouldn't you say goodbye to colleagues??
