Oh, hey! Thanks for the shout out!
FWIW, tactics is my strength... I definitely can lose sight of the strategy at times, but I'm always good at noticing little details that can be improved in the short term.

At 3:13:40, Mel should NOT have prepped the Force Amplifier. The Blasting Staff is only usable on spells prepped that turn, and she had no other spells in hand.
Then at 3:17:17 Justin missed one of the nice things about the Blasting Staff. He could have prepped a Spark, cast it with the Blasting Staff, then prepped the other Spark to the same +1 breach. "Only" one damage difference, but you never know when you'll need that extra and there is no downside to getting the bonus twice.
At 3:24:20, Inco can only give Rose Thorns to other players when he acquires them via his special card, not when purchasing for 2.

Typically, the expansions will all be back in stock after the Kickstarter ships. They recently asked backers to verify addresses... so it will be shipping fairly soon. Keep an eye out in a few months.

When a power comes out that varies based on the number of Nemesis cards in the turn order discard pile, it is always possible to immediately tell which option will actually happen... since it only ticks down when those cards are drawn. Just count it out.

Notice, by the way, that when Inco gets his ability off (which you REALLY should do)... he's the one casting the spells. So it combos incredibly well with the Quicksilver treasure you just got. I don't recall offhand what the other treasures are, but I imagine there's one that combos well with Razra also... since she came in the same expansion.

    Gah!!!
At 5:13:00 when any ally can prep a spell, Mel claims she "Only has a one-coster" (though it's really zero). COMPLETELY missing the fact that it's the most powerful zero-cost card in the game and is perfectly set up with the situation she had. The card can be used to cast another prepped spell without discarding it, essentially doubling whatever your best spell is. She had a Force Amplifier prepped in IV... so she passed on an additional five damage.

Ouch. Turns out that could have gotten you the win...
(Though I definitely thought you went for the kill a bit too early.)

To defend the game’s phrasing of the Colossal Force ability, “Deal 2 damage plus 4 additional damage for each spell” doesn’t really make sense the way you interpreted it, otherwise they would just write “Deal 6 damage for each spell”.

Weird (unlucky) expedition setup, as you have Z’hana in your party but the whole story is about (unknowingly) chasing Z’hana as she betrayed everyone :D

Yeah, Crystallize is an amazing card with the right setup... but you didn't have the right setup.
It's ideal for certain support characters that can buy cards for other players, since they can then go for an all-money deck.

why do you spend most of the early turns focusing breaches with all the aether you have instead of buying cards? deckbuilder wink wink

Because I love to frustrate experienced Aeon's End players. :P

@@RobsGamingTable Your call haha. Also Mel keeps holding 1 Crystal which has no benefit at all + recurring jasper so her deck was super slow. Edit: Mel is holding cards in hand too much..

@@RobsGamingTable + tip: you see cards more expensive than they are in reality. 5 aether card is not expensive at all. But based on your discussion you would rarely buy it. Most of the mages have 4 crystals at start of the game in deck. so you buy something cheap first turn. you hold 1 crystals - draw 4 and you have 5 aether. yaay :). Basically the economy curve is much higher than you see it Rob.
