I was happy with the scale itself. There were things I should have done better. It needs to be on a concrete pad. I had mine setting on 4” concrete blocks. And I should have run all my wires in conduit. The cows ate all the wires off of the sensors. Both of those things were my fault. The scale seemed to do fine. I weighed calves several times with it.
I had mine in conduit and one of the load cells went bad and had to figure out which one. Then the monitor went bad. The junction box rusted out, I got a new one and siliconed that one where it should have had an O ring seal. I sold the chute with that POS. I just got a new chute and bit the bullet and got the wireless loadbar Gallagher so no cables to get stepped,jerked,eaten, etc. I don't have it hooked up yet but it's fabricated from 3/8 steel and hot dipped galvanized.
