I love how she says she wouldn't have been true to herself because she knows she loves Ron. I think she's right, that they were both lonely and having a hard time and because they were such good friends, they were maybe tempted, if only to feel comfort and intimacy in such an awful time.
@@Nazneen878 eww no… the books clearly show Harry and Hermione as siblings . Didn’t happen in the book, and honestly it’s a very stupid scene that the director wanted to include to fullfil his own personal desire. I see the scene as Harry trying to cheer her up nothing else. Harry never liked Hermione that way and he would never hurt Rony like that.
I have always shipped H/Hr since Philosopher's Stone. I saw that they had something and it's been like that in every film and book. There is always that part when Harry and Hermione are together. Once I ship something I can't unship it no matter how tue story goes and ends.
This is just a theory but I think that the romantic chemistry between hermione and Harry is real. It's really there. But the author didn't make harmony canon because she was trying to avoid that kind of romantic ship where the main character ends up with one of the main characters which in this case is hermione since she's the only girl in the group. I think she's trying to make it fair between the trio so she made hermione end up with Ron so ron doesn't end up being the third wheel.
@@mika_chan7838 good point but in my opinion i see no romance between them. The dance in DH part 1 is not in the books plus in my theory, Harry's just comforting Hermione when Ron left which really shows that Hermione really loved Ron and Harry really loved Ginny, He even risked him being caught just to hold Ginny's hand. I still respect your opinion
This was in the movie, not in the book. In the book, something like this never would've happened because they got bored of each other's company in Ron's absense. I think this scene was amazing to show their true friendship. These days, nobody can just be happy with a boy and girl just being friends. Harry didn't "go in for it" like Emma said. His intention was to cheer her up, but she turned away in thought of Ron. People read too far into things! They're the best of friends :)
RamonaaR93 I agree. Some people these days (especially at my elementary school) just can't except that a boy and a girl can just be friends and really close. It doesn't have to turn into a relationship.
Zoebear 2004 I actually had a best friend, who was a guy. We were with each other always in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. Everyone thought we were a "thing". My other friends made fun of me saying stuff like he was my boyfriend. Well, he was a friend who was a boy. We never had any romantic feelings towards each other.
but like, it always seems like there could be more, and keep in mind, you probably wouldnt say the same about ron and ginny if harry and hermione happened to be together
This was to show Harry and hermione’s friendship because in the movies we don’t see it as much as in the books. I loved to see it but I kind of felt that at the end the director wanted there to be a kiss and when I was watching the movie for the first time I was like: NOOO THEY ARE LIKE BROTHER AND SISTER DONT DO IT! So yeah lol
Just to remind you hermione and ron were best friends too why didnt they just remain that way then?! We ship harmony because we like there healthy relationship, the way they stand by each other in there toughest times( that's a foundation for any relationship). Way they are there when other's sad or heart broken. We don't like a relationship where a girl physically abuses her boyfriend (in dh when ron returned during horcrux hunt) or the guy is insecure because of his girlfriend's smartness. If you don't wanna ship a healthy ship then at least don't spread hate towards it.
I've shipped Ron and Hermione ever since my grandma read their first interaction to me when I was like 6 years old, but that dance scene is probably my favourite in the entire series and it never fails to make me cry. I always admired that Harry and Hermione prove boys and girls can be just friends, but the dance, or the aftermath of it, could've changed everything between them and everything about the series I've loved for so many years and I think that it doesn't makes it even more beautiful. They are lonely, they both miss Ron and Harry misses Ginny and they want to make each other feel better. They have a strong love for each other, a platonic one, but it's beautiful and that scene, as I already said, beats every other scene in the series for me, without even being in the books at all.
These kind of moments are the reason I really really liked Deathly Hallows part 1. It felt like a really unique movie in the HP series. Probably big part because the usual premise of the trio going to Hogwartz changes completely. There were lots of slow moments and scenes that managed to tell so much and really brought the world of HP alive. It was a great choice to split the book to two movies. One movie would have had a really rushed pace and we would have totally missed experiencing scenes like this.
why you all just fkin shower book knowledge like you are the one who wrote and read thousands of books when you can everyone shippin them together .They were so so so good together
Why are even commenting on here? I don't understand how some R/Hr shippers hate on an non-canon shipping. You got your ship, so stop insulting Harmony.

Yeah their should be another hp movie harry potter true love hermione realises she should have loved harry and feels the same but it takes a while to around to feelings for eachother just my opinion
People would tell Harmony shippers to "read the books!". But in fact, even before the first movie was released, when I first read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, I have always felt something special between Harry and Hermione, and I hoped it would grow into something more. Others may say that pairing Harry with Hermione would be too clichéd, but, I don't know, maybe I prefer cliché couples. Lol.
yeah, because the "opposites attract" thing between Ron and Hermione is not cliché at all. Of course it is. The best would be if the three of them would have married someone else, it would be more real and believable, but then again... if Hermione was meant to end up with any of her friends, Harry would've been the best choice. Also, the idea of the hero getting the girl instead of the sidekick sounds as if Hermione was a prize to be won between Harry and Ron
@@helterscelter4617 I agree that Ron/Hermione has disadvantages (Harry/Ginny is the best by far), but compared to Harry and Hermione, Ron/Hermione is much better.
I like r/h, but I have to admit that this scene WAS pretty damn realistic. hr/h couldn't have been anything more - but between friends, there will always be the question of whether or not 'more' is a possibility. to show that hr/h had that moment of 'whether or not' reflects on realism here. I thought it was a pretty damn good scene. haters need to stop hating :{
I think it was actually open to interpretation..alot of people on the comments think that Emma was talking about a romantic kiss, but she wasnt. She was talking about a loneliness kiss. A "circumstancial kiss".Lets not forget that they have been on the run for so long, facing danger almost everyday, no affection, nowhere safe..To me, it started as a friendship moment, but at the end, there's this tiny, tiny moment, when it could have happened, and thats why Hermione backed off. (Pretty much like the "desert island" effect).
@@Adriaan2005no she was trying to limelight her name with harry in a very crippy way.. didn't she knw she was his best frnd from the last 5 seasons.. and talking about alward kiss with rupert .
I think it‘s a wonderful explanation of this scene. Even if it wasn‘t in the book, I really like that they explored Harry and Hermiones relationship. Like David Heyman said: "Jo loved, for example, the scene in this film where Harry and Hermione dance. You know? And some fans will like it, some won't, but actually Jo loved it, because... In a way, you know, there's a part of you that thinks Harry and Hermione should have been together, even though they weren't [...]." And JK Rowling herself: “In some ways Hermione and Harry are a better fit and I’ll tell you something very strange. When I wrote Hallows, I felt this quite strongly when I had Hermione and Harry together in the tent! [...].“ So I think Emma Watson is right. When you‘re in such a close friendship there will always be the question whether or not there could be something more until this moment when it becomes clear. Once and for all. And the scene itself is brilliant for showing this possibility. Like in the book you can see how distant they are, both in different corners of the tent. Hermione close to the radio; which became a surrogate for Ron, until Harry walks up to Hermione and asks her to dance. At first she‘s a bit diffident but as the dance goes on both are letting go. They are getting closer and you can feel that both of them are looking for a certain sort of comfort. And then comes this moment when you think they’re going to kiss but Hermione decides to walk away and you can see Ron, written all over her face. So they separate and take up their place again. Alone. I think the scene shows two very important aspects: A very rare and wonderful kind of love between Harry and Hermione; true friendship and her unbreakable love for Ron. You can really feel that she chose or rather wants only him and that makes in my opinion the locket destruction scene even better.
And its just shit....hermione better left with ron then at first place😂...u hv to admit that jk was totally dumb at pairing....like hermione cant think herself without harry , ends up with harry but surprisingly just wants ron who is nothing but an ass joke compared to harry..it was very forced written
@@helterscelter4617 Hermoine loves Ron not Harry so shut your stupid mouth and also Ron ia not a joke, without him Harry and Hermione would die in the first book itself
As a Harry and Hermione shipper, I disagree. If they kissed, that would have come out of nowhere. You have to give some time to develop a relationship, but I do think that could have been the start of romance.
Hermione and Harry made more sense. I love Ron, I do, I think he's wonderful. However, Ron and Hermione had no chemistry. After the prisoner of Azkaban, I really thought Hermione and Harry would become a couple. The chemistry between the actors was also amazing. I honestly think Harry had romantic feelings for Hermione but abstained from pursuing because he cares for Ron. Harry is a self-sacrificing hero so I would not be surprised if he shut down romantic feelings for Hermione because he did not want to upset his friend. Rowling actually said herself that Hermione ended up with Ron not because it made literary sense, but because she was clinging to the plot she had thought about at the beginning.
Crystal Gacha You couldn’t tell they like *eachother* ,You could only tell Ron likes Hermione, because in the book when Ron got Harry a book for his birthday(7(?) fail safe ways to charm witches)Ron says:”I wish I has this book earlier, then I could of got off Lavender and get going with- -well”
Harry obviously didn't have those feelings. He started developing feelings for Cho towards the end of the third book that continued until Dumbledore was forced to leave the school in the fifth book. He then started developing feelings for Ginny at the start of the sixth book that lasted until he died. So there's no room for Harry loving Hermione there.
@@blairwaldorf7111 I did not read all of the books from cover to cover. But relationships is not the primary plot of the books anyways. In either case, there is still no evidence for Harry having romantic feelings for Hermione. He was clearly a close friend to her but being best of friends and being lovers is not the same thing.
The thought of a bright and strong character Hermione throwing her future away for that ginger black hole of mediocrity sickens me. Luckily even Rowling admitted later that she thought their marriage wouldn't last.
LOVE Ron and Hermione with all my heart I'm so thankfull to Rowling for leaving them together. For me they are just the most beautiful couple in the world. Love Harry and Hermione SO much, but as friends, I thing they have a beautiful and lovely friendship but I can't see them as more. For me that seen is a prove of how much love they have for eachother but not in that way. I absolutely adore this scene and their friendship but in my opinion Hermione couldn't ask for a better guy than Ron
Exactly, If your alone with someone that you get along well with and you're missing the one you love, of course you're going to think about starting a relationship with that person. Luckily though, they, especially Hermione, realized that they were just vulnerable and lonely and that they weren't meant to go down that path. They could have got together but they released it just wasn't right, they wouldn't have been true to themselves if they had of :)
It was so obvious Ron and Hermione liked eachother from really early on!? How can’t people see that Harry and Hermione had a strong friendship and Ron and Hermione were always teasing eachother and got jealous and possessive of eachother! Hermione always cries over Ron, never Harry. So much build up and tension all throughout the series and people actually thought Harry and Hermione would end up together?!

@@axthxticemma1203 yes is pretty obvious that the cannon would be Ron and Hermione, but that doesn’t mean that people can’t like the idea of a romantic interaction between Hermione and Harry (or any other character really). I think it's cuz the movies left out most of Harry and Ginny's relationship. They were so cute and was meant for each other in the books. They really butchered Ginny in the movies and Ron too so people think that Harry belongs with Hermione
@@TrentvsTheWorld oh well doesn't seem so by the behind the scenes video of this scene. In one such BTS video Dan and Emma are kissing each other's necks discreetly while dancing. That certainly isn't brother and sister relationship. N as far as I read/heard, Emma had used word "awkward" for kiss with Rupert, not with Daniel.
Though I have always shipped them and wanted them to be together I still feel that was a pure moment of friendship where a friend was just trying to cheer his friend up. It was so pure please don't ruin the moment taking it thay way.
Yeah I think they should have kissed too since Harry and Hermoine would make a great couple given their chemistry throughout Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 1
If they had kissed in the tent than they both would have been cheating on Ron and Ginny and that would only prove even more that Ron was right all along about Harry and Hermione
Advice to all Harmione shippers: don't mention the word "movies" or Romione shippers will jump on your throats and tell you to rEaD tHe bOoKs. Besides, you can easily make a good Harmione claim off of the books.
@Luckiegurll Yates said, “There’s a moment in the film where Harry and Hermione dance for the first time. It’s full of proper sexual tension because they’re both teenagers and they’re at that stage where Ron’s left and there’s a sort of intimacy between them. So there are all sorts of corners that you turn because they’re young adults. And turning those corners in the real world is actually quite fun.” Not quite the friendshippy interpretation you put on the scene.
Unfortunately that was not the truth, I see the scene like you, however the director had other intentions because he had a personal desire to see Harry and Hermione together.
@@mabishop8034 it just makes no godamn sense. After 7 years and no previous notions that they have a crush on each other, out of nowhere and for one short scene they show feelings for each other, and then never again? Shit is stoopid and weird 😂
Late to the party, but just wanna say, if this was any other cliché romance drama, a kiss would definitely happen, and then instant regret plus apologizing to the other person for the kiss. Thank god Hermione knows what she is doing and knows where her heart is, there is no need for Hermione and Harry to have that cliché "gonna regret it immediately afterwards" kiss.
Petra Tóth bruh i’m only calling out the romione shippers bcos they’re hating on harmione shippers first just bcos our ship isn’t canon. THAT’S what’s disgusting here. like we get it your ship already sailed.
@TurnerAlpha in the movies because it just further sets Harry in the friend corner. I like that he's protective of her like a brother is of his sister. The fact he tried to cheer her up proves that. It's what my brother would have done. But the fact is, that he still didn't KNOW how to cheer her up. Not really... they were both miserable without Ron. I like that the films at least showed Hermione was. I wish they'd shown that Harry was too. Cause in the books Harry was missing his bestfriend too
It could never ever be Harry/Hermione in the book, because, to be honest, Harry never tried to cheer up Hermione in the book (which he should have but he didn't) and also Harry desperately missed Ginny and Hermione cried day and night for Ron. The only time they talked was before and after going to Godric's hollow. It's really sad to see them falling apart in the absence of Ron, but it's true. When Ron came back, Harry literally told him he loved Hermione like a sister, and he couldn't have made it clearer.
@TurnerAlpha Or maybe it could be that she got sad again... it happens... especially when the happiness she felt was superficial because the one she wanted wasn't there. It had nothing to do with what could or couldn't have happened. Hermione was sad, Harry tried to cheer her up. It worked for about a minute and then she got sad again. It's really quite normal when someone is in a depression like she was.
Why are you all telling that she ships Harmoine. She is just mentioning that if they really liked each other then would kiss but they didn't because Hermoine is in love with Ron
And harry with ginny, harry could have easily kissed hermione first but didnt because he was probably thinking the same time about ginny. This scene was more lust because they are such a good friends. but they both thought at the end about the person they actually like in a romantic way. But its still sad harmione didn't end up together because emma and dan and also harry and hermione had way more chemistry together but well even jk rolling said maby she was wrong about putting hermione and ron together.
@Bway2be Thank you. Exactly. Emma is a Ron/Hermione shipper. What she is saying is that had they turned to each other for comfort it would have been a mistake on both their parts. One they would have regretted immensely because they're both in love with other people. People who are they are away from in this moment. Hermione's heart belonged to Ron and Harry's to Ginny. Stop twisting Emma's words!!
I wish in the movies it would have shown how much Harry and Ginny liked each other. All they did was kiss. So by just watching the movies your more bound to want H/Hr together. Although I loved the chemistry between Ron and Hermione in these last two movies. The kiss between them sucked in my opinion, to forced I felt, and you couldn't even see their lips bc of Ron's head in the way.
I disagree. In both the movie and book Harry loves Ginny. In the HBP movie, Harry tells Dumbledore that they're friends. In the book, we know harry knows ron and hermione like each other. In the deathly hallows, Harry tells Ron that he loves her like a sister. It's the reason Ron leaves in the first place. This scene to me actually solidified that they were best friends that cared about each other.
It's all Steve's doing he loved Hermione so much he kinda ruined Harry and Ginny's relationship on screen so I hear a lot of people who only saw the movies say that Harry and Hermione belong together but Ginny is better for Harry always.
Didn’t happen in the book, and honestly it’s a very stupid scene that the director wanted to include to fullfil his own personal desire. I see the scene as Harry trying to cheer her up nothing else. Harry never liked Hermione that way and he would never hurt Rony like that.
I didn't see it like that. I saw it as two friends who are stressed out and dealing with a lot having a dance and forgetting their problems for a sec. But I've always liked the idea of Harry and Hermione being together ngl.
I agree that the movies are misleading. My mother thought Harry and Hermione were together. That's fine by me, of course, I always thought (despite canon) that they were meant to be.
It's been so long but I still can't move one from this! I got soooo sooo disappointed when harry and hermione didn't end up together. But as a Movie Series, Harry Potter will always be a legend. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
"could have" Didn't The scene does nothing for the movie but mislead the audience. Ron and Hermione danced in the books, Harry and Hermione never did. They were also miserable the whole time without Ron.
1st of all they were miserable even when ron was present.( actually he kept on complaining about food and made hermione feel miserable because she couldn't make it)
@DocOc61 I don't consider Harry's kids to be main characters. I don't care about them. They appeared in a single chapter and I don't see how I'm supposed to feel any sort of attachment to them. What I mean was, Ron/Hermione officially only got together in HBP, which gives us 5 full books for Harry/Hermione shippers. Also, the fic you read. Hahahaha that is hilarious. I cannot take the blame for bad fanfiction, no matter how much it makes me giggle.
@TurnerAlpha And also, she specifically says in the beginning of that interview that she didn't write it with that intention... for people to assume that H/Hr could even be a possibility. What she does say is that Hermione shared something with Harry that she didn't with Ron and that's a much more familial bond. They were out there alone... they only had each other to lean on. But Jo never intended for them to be more than platonic. Please don't misinterpret what she is saying.
i thought they could have kissed, well they should have changed the ending and had harry and hermione end up together, but hey it was still good with ron.
I never thought this was romantic at all. It was nice moment between them when they hadn't had any fun in so long and just needed something normal and not fraught with fear and tension. Harry initiated it because Hermione was so strung out since Ron had left. They turned the radio to a music station instead of news and enjoyed a song and a dance. I suppose you could argue that the opportunity was there to take things further but they didn't and wouldnt have. But I think they knew...even if they had got away with it....they wouldn't have am I right? Ron might have been gone but they knew they would be together again at some point and it wasn't worth it. But beyond the consequences I think it proves their respect and loyalty to Ron not to betray him like that while he was gone.
In the movies they didn't dance but Hermione gave her full support to Harry that he needed badly. The only people he trusted was Ron and Hermione. When Ron left him , he was heart broken and Hermione was much more heart broken yet she gave him full emotional support. In the books in that scene where harry tells her how Dumbledore had left him Hermione told him to believe in Himself and also she went to godric's hollow with him The movie makers maybe wanted to sum in all in the dance which was basically Harry comforting Hermione when Ron left
@TurnerAlpha The point is that in PoA, Ron AND Harry were BOTH mad at her throughout the book. The film on the other hand.... painted Hermione in a VERY different light.
@DocOc61 I've never heard this interview. The only one I've heard her talking about this scene is this one. And that's not what she said. She was saying that between any other two people they might have crossed that line but that Harry and Hermione never would for two reasons: Ron and Ginny. Yates is the one who keeps talking about all this nonexistent sexual tension between H/Hr. Makes me wonder what books HE read. Or if he read them at all. -___-
@DocOc61 I wasn't implying that Harry or Hermione would cheat on their partners. My first point was that I dislike people bashing on non-canon relationships simply because of that reason. Oh it's okay, you don't have to feel sad for us. That's why fanfiction and fanvids exist. We're perfectly happy.
When Ron said to Harry about Hermione's skin is beautiful and Harry said back to him that he never paid attention +When Harry asked Hermione can they go to party together as friends, hermione said how couldn't she think it. These scenes shows us they have not romantic feelings for each other. And in this scene, I only think Harry is trying to cheer her up. But in the movie, if we talk about chemistry, yes, dan and emma have more. And actually as personalities(harry and Hermione), they fit more
Saw in an interview said David Yates loves the character Hermione & i think he wanted to give a fan service and tryna ship them both because of the overall reaction towards emma & dan on screen chemistry. This was opposite in the books, Hermione shunted herself away from harry, barely talking to him in this chapter, showing she was really devastated. Shouldnt have shown this "possibility of harry-hermione ship" tho
@MiladyToxic Ron knew how to "handle" Hermione. Did she cry? Yes. Was it Ron's fault? No. In HBP, he didn't know that she liked him. In fact, Hermione was going on and on about how Harry had grown up and how good he was looking blah blah blah. Ron's insecurities have always been an issue. And in DH, his leaving wasn't his fault. In fact when the effects of the horcrux wore off he wanted to return to them. But he couldn't find them. It's why he ends up at Bill's cottage.
@TurnerAlpha As far as Ron knew, she was inviting him because they were friends. As far as he knew Hermione never saw him as more than a friend. And the difference between Ron's relationship with Hermione and her intentions with that other guy she took to the party is that Ron did not hook up with Lavender to hurt Hermione or make her jealous. A pretty girl was finally paying attention to him and not his best friend and he took that opportunity. Can you blame him?
@TurnerAlpha I don't think he had a "better understanding" he just felt the same way she did but if that counts as a "better understanding"... Cuz Harry had no idea what to do to cheer her up. Not in the books nor in the movies. He just knew his best friend was hurting like he was and he wanted to make it stop for both their sakes. He really is an AMAZING friend. But Hermione is not the girl he wanted to be dancing with in that moment just like Harry isn't who she wanted to dance with herself.
You know Harry and Hermione were probably the best couple in the series with being a couple. They understood each other really well and complimented each other's personality. Even JKR told that it was her own desire to make Ron and Hermione a couple and in the hindsight it should have been different. But not to take way the fact that it was Dan's and Emma's chemistry onscreen that cemented Harmione to happen and also the fact that Ginny was poorly written for the movies. In the books, eventhough Harmione seems a legitimate choice, nobody could argue that Hinny was bad because she was such a badass in the book. In the movies however she was poorly developed as a character and infact the movies portrayed Luna and Harry's relationship wayy better than that of Ginny and Harry. But still I believe Hermione and Harry should have been a couple.
@etblanken15 That's what it was essentially. Or at least he tried to. Because he knows that she'd cry herself to sleep every night that Ron was gone and he hated that he couldn't do anything to fix it.
@TurnerAlpha I'm just glad that Kloves and Yates didn't get to do what they clearly wanted and that was to make Harry and Hermione end game. Because that detail is just too important. The little details like if this dance was romantic or platonic has to be left up to interpetation. There's always going to be someone who reads too much into something or reads too little. Personally, I never saw anything "romantic" about H/Hr. Not in the books and not in the films.
The reason is that the movies did overly well at capturring Harry and Hermione's relationship and awful at her and Ron' relationship, unlike in the books. If only Rom's love for Hermione would have been portrayed better...
Agreed Ron and Hermione as well as Harry and Ginny were such beautiful relationships. Plus in the epilogue in the books you can really tell Ron and Hermione as well as Harry and Ginny have been in love for years and had kids where as in the movies they feel like people that are married and might get divorced later on.
what are the other ship's shippers doing here? and why are you reacting on this video? are you blind that you can't read that it's about hermione and harry. there is no 'ron' in the title of the video. just accept the fact that our ship is perfect. :)
@hppotclotrluver lol No she didn't change her mind, she is a book purist....she has stated several SEVERAL times that she loves Ron and Hermione together. Sorry to burst your bubble. lol
@Luckiegurll ORLY? Ron was always a better friend to Hermione? Ron never broke her heart and made her cry? truth is that Harry's always been Hermione's shoulder to lean on.
@TurnerAlpha But I guess that is my whole point: Harry NEVER would have "taken the initiative" with Hermione. He NEVER thought of Hernione as anything other than a sister. He would not have "taken the initiative" with Hermione, because he was pining for Ginny -- looking for her name on the Marauders' Map. I have no idea what Hermione MIGHT have done, but I know Harry would not have contemplated kissing Hermione for one second. Emma, Dan, Yates, and Kloves should have known that.
I love how she says she wouldn't have been true to herself because she knows she loves Ron. I think she's right, that they were both lonely and having a hard time and because they were such good friends, they were maybe tempted, if only to feel comfort and intimacy in such an awful time.

I have always shipped H/Hr since Philosopher's Stone. I saw that they had something and it's been like that in every film and book. There is always that part when Harry and Hermione are together. Once I ship something I can't unship it no matter how tue story goes and ends.
sameee
Me too lol. Such a dynamic relationship
I used to be like that but then reread the books and notice quite some details that made me understand why not
This was in the movie, not in the book.
One of my favorite franchise scenes. Such tension. Such is the chemistry
Why didn't Harry Pull his willy out on screen?
I will always think Harry and Hermione should have gotten married in the books. I was hoping for that. :(
Bro hermione's name comes from a shakspear novel and don't associate her with such an animal she is way more advanced

No way they are absolutely best friends and that only.. Ron and hermione have true love... And that's all that matters
No way they are absolutely best friends and that only.. Ron and hermione have true love... And that's all that matters

That's the reason why I hate the movies, why did they have to invent a scene like that? (The part in which they were dancing)
such a fkin dumbhead you are with not a single piece of neuron on brain
why you all just fkin shower book knowledge like you are the one who wrote and read thousands of books when you can everyone shippin them together .They were so so so good together

Lol.
skyler0601 I agree with you bro
Read the books.
@@hiddenassassin3233 stfu stupid bitch...we read books and we hate ron and hermione together
yeah, because the "opposites attract" thing between Ron and Hermione is not cliché at all.
I’ll never forgive them for NOT getting down here.
I never saw this as romantic in the movie... just a friend trying to cheer his friend up with something lighthearted and fun!
I like r/h, but I have to admit that this scene WAS pretty damn realistic. hr/h couldn't have been anything more - but between friends, there will always be the question of whether or not 'more' is a possibility. to show that hr/h had that moment of 'whether or not' reflects on realism here. I thought it was a pretty damn good scene. haters need to stop hating :{
Anon Nymous no doubt about that
I dont see that scene going towards that. It was such a wholesome friendship moment thats it
I think it was actually open to interpretation..alot of people on the comments think that Emma was talking about a romantic kiss, but she wasnt. (Pretty much like the "desert island" effect).

thankyou next omg I know right every damn time man...
thankyou next reality could be often disappointing
Unfortunately that's very true
What are you talking about? Ron and Hermione happened lol
It is true in the books, the cute couple does end up together, harry and Ginny
I think it‘s a wonderful explanation of this scene.
Even if it wasn‘t in the book, I really like that they explored Harry and Hermiones relationship.
Like David Heyman said: "Jo loved, for example, the scene in this film where Harry and Hermione dance. You know? And some fans will like it, some won't, but actually Jo loved it, because... In a way, you know, there's a part of you that thinks Harry and Hermione should have been together, even though they weren't [...]."
And JK Rowling herself: “In some ways Hermione and Harry are a better fit and I’ll tell you something very strange. When I wrote Hallows, I felt this quite strongly when I had Hermione and Harry together in the tent! [...].“
So I think Emma Watson is right.
Alone.
I think the scene shows two very important aspects:
A very rare and wonderful kind of love between Harry and Hermione; true friendship
and her unbreakable love for Ron.

They should have kissed! There was so much sexual tension in that scene you could cut it with a knife. Way more than in the R/Hr scenes.

@@pxtrat Did you just get triggered by an opinion? Visit a doctor please..
@@Samconery got nothing better to say?😂😂
I didn't see any sexual tension in that scene. It was more depression and stress.
Yeah it does but hermione and ron dont get along and hermione and harry do
Crystal Gacha You couldn’t tell they like *eachother* ,You could only tell Ron likes Hermione, because in the book when Ron got Harry a book for his birthday(7(?) fail safe ways to charm witches)Ron says:”I wish I has this book earlier, then I could of got off Lavender and get going with- -well”
Harry obviously didn't have those feelings. He started developing feelings for Cho towards the end of the third book that continued until Dumbledore was forced to leave the school in the fifth book. He then started developing feelings for Ginny at the start of the sixth book that lasted until he died. So there's no room for Harry loving Hermione there.
harry never had feelings for hermione, did you read the books?
@@blairwaldorf7111 I did not read all of the books from cover to cover. But relationships is not the primary plot of the books anyways. In either case, there is still no evidence for Harry having romantic feelings for Hermione. He was clearly a close friend to her but being best of friends and being lovers is not the same thing.

Exactly, If your alone with someone that you get along well with and you're missing the one you love, of course you're going to think about starting a relationship with that person. Cause in the books Harry was missing his bestfriend too
Also, with Ron gone, Harry had nothing to distract him from how much he missed Ginny anymore.
in the books i ship romione so much , but in the movies i just cant find romione’s chemistry idk, i wanted harry and mione to end up together
Boo. Harmony all the way. But straight from the lips of Emma Watson! Haha.

She is just mentioning that if they really liked each other then would kiss but they didn't because Hermoine is in love with Ron
and harry loves ginny

But Jo never intended for them to be more than platonic. Please don't misinterpret what she is saying.
Harmony always and forever
i thought they could have kissed, well they should have changed the ending and had harry and hermione end up together, but hey it was still good with ron.
Emma always ship Ron and Hermione 🤩🤩🤩
Emma Watson 🥰 is my always a forever crush 🥰
In the movies they didn't dance but Hermione gave her full support to Harry that he needed badly. The only people he trusted was Ron and Hermione. When Ron left him , he was heart broken and Hermione was much more heart broken yet she gave him full emotional support. In the books in that scene where harry tells her how Dumbledore had left him Hermione told him to believe in Himself and also she went to godric's hollow with him
The movie makers maybe wanted to sum in all in the dance which was basically Harry comforting Hermione when Ron left
Harry never thinks that way of Hermione. 😏 She's like a sister to him. All he wants is for her to cheer up.
Oh it's okay, you don't have to feel sad for us. That's why fanfiction and fanvids exist. We're perfectly happy.
The comments are so old 💀💀
When Ron said to Harry about Hermione's skin is beautiful and Harry said back to him that he never paid attention +When Harry asked Hermione can they go to party together as friends, hermione said how couldn't she think it.
Shouldnt have shown this "possibility of harry-hermione ship" tho
wrong move emma.
@TurnerAlpha He's a teenage boy.... honestly, him being oblivious (because let's face it... that's how teenage boys are) is completely in character.
I knew they abt to kiss cuz they stopped at the end looking at each other
why? tell me why? I´ve always thought that Hermione and Harry will end together and it´s almost perfect and ajj ... I really dont like jlsdbhsdf ahh
I’ve said it so many times Harry and Hermione where such a duo Rob became more of a tag along in the last few movies
They should've been together
@etblanken15 That's what it was essentially. Or at least he tried to. Because he knows that she'd cry herself to sleep every night that Ron was gone and he hated that he couldn't do anything to fix it.
When the time idk really know much about harry potter i actually thought they were the couple at the end of it
@TurnerAlpha I know right. i just wished it had been like the book and he swept her off her feet, because they needed more chemistry with that part.
Harry and Hermione Dance 💏💏🕺💃
@TurnerAlpha I'm just glad that Kloves and Yates didn't get to do what they clearly wanted and that was to make Harry and Hermione end game. Because that detail is just too important. The little details like if this dance was romantic or platonic has to be left up to interpetation. There's always going to be someone who reads too much into something or reads too little. Personally, I never saw anything "romantic" about H/Hr. Not in the books and not in the films.
@hppotclotrluver Um... actually Emma is saying that Harry and Hermione would never have worked because she is in love with Ron and always would be.
I agree. Something was missing. I love there friendship but YES they could have kissed in that scene!! They just needed that!
Anyone know what documentary this interview is from ?
what are the other ship's shippers doing here? and why are you reacting on this video? are you blind that you can't read that it's about hermione and harry. there is no 'ron' in the title of the video. just accept the fact that our ship is perfect. :)
@hppotclotrluver lol No she didn't change her mind, she is a book purist....she has stated several SEVERAL times that she loves Ron and Hermione together. Sorry to burst your bubble. lol
Where can I watch this full interview?
@Luckiegurll ORLY? Ron was always a better friend to Hermione? Ron never broke her heart and made her cry? truth is that Harry's always been Hermione's shoulder to lean on.
Thats why they're best friends
Well that was only in HBP , most of the series Ron always stood up for Hermoine and protected her
@TurnerAlpha But I guess that is my whole point: Harry NEVER would have "taken the initiative" with Hermione.
