I forget that the Weasleys are actually a pretty attractive family with how they're described in the books. The AI Fred and George, Ginny and Bill are gorgeous!
@@marshallpeters7174I think Ginny was always described as having flaming red hair, I’m not sure about the rest but it would make sense for them to have the same
It's funny how that's unironically the most common depiction of her that other characters share. I liked how Harry immediately knew that Dung was talking about Umbridge when he mentioned "toadlike".
When Gilderoy Lockhart came out, I got chills! AI is scary. Lockhart was told to have won Most Charming Smile award FIVE times, and to be depicted five times like this... AI is definitely understanding that you're describing Harry Potter characters, and incorporating character details into the end result.
It's not fair to call the AI Hermione unattractive. She is attractive, just different than how Emma turned out. Also, in defense of the movies, Emma did look more like book Hermione as a kid, she just grew up super pretty; which in my opinion further embodies Hermione as a character because they do start to realize (around the Yule Ball) that Hermione IS attractive!
With response to "it's not fair to call AI H unattractive". Living on Earth isn't about being fair; political correctness will try to frame your thoughts otherwise. For him to call her unattractive is him sharing his opinion. This isn't a math equation - this is called honesty, which is upon the individual. Please don't rate opinions as fair or not. That is literally insane.
@laurenelizabeth2505 I agree that it is his opinion, but then he should state it as such, that he personally finds her unattractive instead of trying to label her as such for everyone. Regardless of the specifics of that, all I did was state my opinion in response, nothing wrong with that either. I'm also painfully aware, from a young age to present day, how life is not fair as well as how insane this world already is. Sorry that my opinion offended you.
Yes, he's definitely Blind. Meaning not having the physical sense of vision. Because the other possibility that he has his individual opinion is not a possibility. And how dare he express it, because the Risk of someone deciding his opinion is now an attack on their feelings, or hurtful. Everyone has to agree on the same thing, as other opinions are too difficult to accept. So calling him blind is the way to go.@@MicukoFelton
p.s. for the record, I do not think the "AI" version of Hermione is 'gorgeous'. Gorgeous refers to extraordinary striking beauty. At least in MY OPINION. Is that still allowed? You bet. Is this comment going to elicit victimized egos crying out in pain? Maybe. Is this my responsibility or "fault"? Nope. @@MicukoFelton
That’s my main issue with her. She’s an example of bad writing. She’s just a list of positive attributes we hear about from other characters. Pansy saying Blaise thinks she’s pretty, twins saying how powerful she is (bat bogey hex), Hermione saying how she’s popular, someone saying how she protected Luna, Neville saying how they ran the resistance in 8th year etc. And this protector of the innocent image clashes with who she is when she actually does speak in books 5, 6 and 7 - she’s either bland, making catty comments or full on raging. I am told she’s awesome but I’m shown something quite different. Which is a shame because what makes trio so special is getting to know them through their thoughts, feelings and actions. I get a feeling even Cho is more three dimensional than Ginny. At least she has a proper conversation with Harry so I can actually tell what their dynamic together is.@@dannylagangonzalez6832
Best part is when he said "I guess they don't describe that in the books" in spite of having literally read out "black hair" as part of the description from the books.
"This dude really looks like a rat. Like i'm not tryna be mean but did they look at this guy and they were like, that's our guy. He looks like a rat." Had me rolling on the floor. At this point I don't even need Voldemort bc that alone physically had me lying dead lolllllllll
What I find the most interesting about Neville is that in the earlier books his descriptors could be considered similar to Peter Petigrew like fair lump of a boy etc. It’s like what Neville could have been but instead of being a coward he embraced his courage
After Harry overheard the professors talking in the Three Broomsticks and learned of Pettigrew's betrayal, he imagined him as a boy resembling Neville.
@@Louis-si4ci I think because he uses verbatim text from the wiki in which it also frequently mentions the character name, if the AI searches and uses the character name as a reference (which I assume it does), then there will almost always be a large influence from the movie actors, at least for the main cast. That's the only reason I can think of as to how it knew he was describing dumbledore etc. (wand + hogwarts emblem).
I honestly love these type of more relaxed video because you can sort of see Morgan’s personality shinning through. Him talking about worm tails actor made me laugh so hard because it reminded me of my friends in a weird way. Love these
Do a part 2 please. There's Kreacher, Dobby, Winky, Slughorn, Lee Jordan, Ludo Bagman, the Crouch family, the Gaunts, Stan Shunpike, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Crabbe and Goyle, Pansy Parkinson, Cornelius Fudge, Rufus Scrimgeour, etc. Would also be interesting to see how AI depicts the creatures from the book like Buckbeak, the Hungarian Horntail, and the Grindylows.
I actually LOVED the AI art for Hermione and Lily. Lily especially was beautiful, can easily see how a young James Potter (and a young Severus Snape) could beso smitten with her. Also loved Narcissa's, Fleur's, and Cho's.
I always imagined Ginny would look similar to Brianna from Outlander and the AI gave us a gorgeous representation of her. Loved it! Also, you look nice with glasses on 😊
Matthew Lewis and Emma Watson definitely looked more like Hermy and Neville in the first movie/second movie than in the rest of the series but that's not always something you can plan for.
@@Tontoquienloleation Idk why a lot of people seem to think that, but that is just not the case. She was born in 1990, and POA was, while released in 2004, was filmed entirely in 2003. The age matches pretty much perfectly.
If the actors were true to age, I actually think Neville getting bigger the way he did absolutely fit perfectly for him. His size increase was out of place for the Order of the Phoenix, but all of the actors were out-of-place age-wise by then, too.
Hermione is absolutely white in the books, her "white face" is mentioned in Prisoner of Azkaban. ANYONE who says anything else about it probably lies to themselves about a lot of other things too.
@@getdownonit8753 based on Rowling's character description structure in the books, even if it wasn't specified it would still prove that she's white. (even though she is explicitly described as being white)
Thank you for not describing Percy as ugly. A lot of people seem to think he is when there is literally no indication in the books, otherwise Harry would have roasted him let's be real. 😂 He's only described by his character traits as being pumpous and studious but that doesn't mean he's ugly. Also I never imagined him having long hair, I always imagined it to be short and neat and he would be very prim and properly dressed.
Fr, why would he be ugly? I pictured him as maybe not the most handsome dude, but definitely attractive in his own way, a bit nerdy, but normal looking
Nah, assholes are absolutely ugly. Someone's character does make their external appearance look way different. Like, people used to think Armie Hammer was attractive, but he always gave me the creeps and was not remotely attractive to me.
Morgan, you were so honest, and I know how u felt bad when you were doing what u were doing reacting their book descriptions. Also, I loved Umpbridge's look. I couldn't stop laughing. Love ur videos❤. Please do a life of Siruis and wormtail.
I think older actors were chosen to play younger characters for two reasons. One is because more experienced actor can give more depth to the character and because in case of both Syrius and Severus they went through such traumatic events it would only be natural for them to age prematurely.
It's also just not that important? Like, out of all the factors involved in choosing an actor to play the role, unless their age is wildly inappropriate it's kind of low on the list. Gary Oldman was roughly 15 years older than Sirius, and Alan Rickman was like 25 years older than Severus. I do think their older age does influence the vibe of the characters somewhat in the films, but... it's not the biggest deal. Also, I agree about the characters probably looking prematurely aged.
Personally I think the result for Lily is much prettier than the result for Fleur. Also you should definitely do this for the Percy Jackson characters!!
Fleur looked uncanny valley to me. It’s like the a.i tried to make something too robotically unnatural. A.i also steals existing artwork so it would make sense that the adjectives would create something weird
I love this idea! It is a really cool concept and I was wondering if you could do the same thing but with the Percy Jackson characters?? 🙏🙏 I love your work btw
Ugh please. Everyone is always expected to be so diplomatic all the time. Bonnie Wright is attractive in her own way but the fact is in the Harry Potter film series she was made to be plain, the “girl next door” type. She is not beautiful/sexy, as her book character is described

Andromeda appears after the 7 potters battle. Hagrid and Harry take a portkey to their house and meets her and he comments how similar she looks to Bellatrix
These are so neat. I’m not an AI fan, but these feel pretty close to the books. But it made Luna look like Dakota Fanning. 😂 Seeing these are making me think they should honestly make the new show animated instead of live action. They can accomplish so much more to the story, imo.
Harry Melling, also known as Dudley, has had quite a glow up since the movies wrapped up. He looks a lot like his grandfather, Patrick Troughton, who played the second Doctor from Doctor Who.
I know it’s just a weird coincidence, but it’s funny that his actual name is Harry considering the fact that he’s Harry’s bully towards the beginning of the books.
So they've had the grandson of the 2nd Doctor as a bully and the 10th Doctor as a sociopathic Death Eater. Someone's working out their childhood trauma lol
This is why I pray the developers of the Harry Potter reboot go the photo-realistic animation rather than live action. AI understood the assignment better. Ginny was spot on! I always saw these characters close to how PotterBlvnk draws them.
I'd prefer that, but I think it's wishful thinking if they started working on the reboot. Animation in the West is still largely treated as "for children" by companies and aren't as much a form of mainstream media consumption compared to live-action movies/shows. Honestly I think the chances are higher that some fans will animate Harry Potter in the unique art styles in the next decade, than companies giving animation a chance while not using the generic animation style
I was rolling over the floor when I saw how Umbridge came out. The one that came out the very best, it's definitely James. I'm not speaking in how I like people to look, but just in how the looks really came out in making me recognize the character in question.
I think the casting is pretty accurate. You can fit the same description on many faces. The general vibe from the description definitely matches, except for a few. And another important thing is that, they all were casted as kids, how they grew up was not in anyone's control. The trio looks perfect in their first year
I think you should have left out the Hogwarts houses in the description, that way AI might have taken the movies as a source as well. Because I felt all of the characters looked a lot like their movie counterparts. Also, it´s totally fine to put on your glasses they don´t look bad on you and you need to see properly.
Honestly, when Narcissa Malfoy's AI came up, the first thing I said is that she looks exactly like a slightly older version of Fleur Delacour, but with longer hair. Then Fleur's AI came up, and I was just blown away of how accurate that looks to Fleur.
They made Fleur seem more like an underrated, panicky character in the movies than what she was supposed to be in the book and that is what makes me think that she was never cut out to be the proper champion for Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
@jameshoffa7085 Harry had his mothers personality she was attracted to the school bully who hexed students just because he could, Ginny did the same thing, hexing people who even slightly annoyed her because they asked a question she didn’t like, she was quite mean in the books and also manipulated boys like Michael Corner and Dean Thomas to get Harrys attention “coincidentally” “dating” boys from Harrys year specifically then creating b.s arguments to have an excuse to dump them. Harrys dad lying straight to Lilys face about how he was no longer bullying anyone in 7th year to get her to go out with him. Both date/marry manipulators.
I think most of them look too stereotypically pretty, as is usually case with AI stuff. In my experience, the AI either recognises the description given to it and makes the character look like the most famous depiction of the character (usually the actor playing them) or then it just tends to make people look like instagram filtered supermodels 🙈 (in this case, Fleur is excused, because shes supposed to be out of this world attractive. 😅) With unrealistic beauty standards already being what they are today, I pity the future generation who is going to feel like they have to compete with not only real life enhanced celebrities, but also with AI crap 😅 (I also pity future artists loosing their jobs to this😢)
It really does depend on what you're using, and there are many steps you can take to generate more normal or even ugly people. It's unclear what he's using. I'd guess like Midjourney or something? Some kind of online service seems likely to me. He doesn't seem to know wtf he's doing at all. Really low tier content, but I digress. I usually use stable diffusion locally, where, if I want to generate normal or ugly looking people, I specifically use a checkpoint for creating realistic images (I normally use one of three check points depending on whether I want realistic, cartoony, or somewhere in the middle images), and then have to avoid using the negative prompts I usually use, since they tend to prettify anything ugly. There are also various other tweaks you can use. Additionally, I normally generate at least four images at a time, and often iterate, tweaking my prompt each time. It isn't uncommon for me to generate dozens or even a couple hundred images in the process of getting what I want when I'm trying to be more specific. I'm also still a huge amateur at all of this, and barely know what I'm doing. Also, while there's a huge discussion to be had about AI generated art and it's consequences for professional artists... I am not replacing what would have been paid work for an artist, I'm just goofing off and creating images for myself. I wouldn't even have commissioned an artist otherwise because, like, I'm not made of money.
Lol I was so hoping you would do Umbridge. I saw an interview with the actress where she reacted to the book description and said “I think I should be insulted that I got the part”. Lol
When it comes down to it, I will always picture the cast as the characters whenever I read a little bit of the books or even a few fanfics. I’ve just watched the Harry Potter movies so many times that whenever I read a little bit of the books, I’m always gonna picture Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Alan Rickman, Richard Harris, and all the other actors as the characters they portrayed.
Not only will I picture the actors as the characters when reading the book, I will also try to picture them matching the way the characters were described in the books which is pretty hard especially for Hermione since after the first two movies, the filmmakers pretty much ditched the bushy hair style that Hermione was supposed to have throughout the entire series.
OK, so my favorite part of this video is the Lockhart picture. It made five poses of him smiling, because he won witch weeklys most charming smile award five times.
Agree. I would love to see what AI can do for more characters. It would be fun to see some more death eaters, teachers and some other people that wasn't in the video. I would personally love to see the Gaunt's and the Dumbledore's. If I would write everyone I want to see I would be here all day, but basically all the ones you said, and everyone else that wasn't in the video.
16:19 I know Maggy was described as “plump” but I just imagined her being “plump” bc she had 7 kids. I imagined her being an older, more plumped version of Ginny, still has that beautiful look to her even if she’s filled out more 🤷🏽♀️

For people wondering about the AI program, I’m pretty sure the AI tool he used is DALL-E 2 by OpenAI. But that requires users to pay $15 for generating a single image😢
More proof that people knowing lie about the cost of things on TH-cam and API calls of DALL-E 3 are about $4 per 100 images but he mostly likely using midjourney not DALL-E 3. Sad that people upvote this
@@southcoastinventors6583hey, the costs i wrote were shown on the website a few months ago so they keep changing with new additions. Nobody is lying so no need to be pissed 😂
Tom Riddle in The Chamber of Secrets movie really to me was so perfect in my opinion. Whenever I read the books I picture that particular actor in my head as Tom Riddle. They did a great job with that actor
My thoughts: Harry: Spot on. The only thing missing is the scar, and the robe is Slytherin green instead of Gryffindor red. Ron: That's Ron, alright. He's kinda how I imagined him outside the movies. Hermione: One of my favorites. She looks both nerdy and cute. Ginny: Love her! She's a beautiful redhead, where as her movie version looks rather average. A definite favorite. Draco: He looks a bit like Tom Felton, if he wasn't as good looking. Neville: He looks alright. Enough said. Luna: She's beautiful, but I think Evana Lynch captured the socially awkwardness better, and she was still very cute. Dumbledore: He looks OK, besides the different glasses and the rather thick Elder Wand (or is it a pipe?) I think Richard Harris was the best Dumbledore. McGonagall: She looks like a younger version of Maggie Smith, which kinda makes sense. Snape: Like McGonagall, he looks like a younger version of his movie actor, but way too good looking. Hagrid: He looks pissed- off. He's usually very cheerful, except when someone disses Dumbledore or harms his pets. Fred & George: They look like in the books, but they don't give me the prankster vibe. Percy: Another favorite. He looks like a nerd and an overachiever. Bill: Another favorite! Way cooler than in the movies. He looks like he was ripped straight from an RPG. Charlie: He's cool. Enough said. Arthur: He looks like how I imagined him in the books. Molly: She's rounder than in the movies, but I suppose it makes sense after having seven kids. Tonks: She looks both cool and sexy. She reminds me a bit of Vi from League of Legends (maybe it's the hair). A favorite for sure. Sirius: Way hotter than in the movies, though I did love Gary Oldman's performance too. Lupin: He looks cool. I love the mustache and messy hair. Peter: Looks rather average to me, but he still looks like a wreck. James: Looks a lot like Harry, but still different enough. Lily: Another beautiful redhead, but different enough from Ginny. Voldemort: He looks closer to the book, but the pointy ears make him look like a vampire. I still like it. Definitely a favorite. Tom: He looks like the handsome manipulator from the flashbacks. As for the nail, AI sometimes messes up fingers and toes. Bellatrix: She's very close to both the books and movies, but her hair is less messy than Helena Bonham Carter's. Lockheart: A diva all the way, but way more good looking than in the movie. Dean: That's totally a Miles Morales look- alike, but it works well. Seamus: Looks OK. Closer to the book. Uncle Vernon: He looks like how I imagined him, when my 5th grade teacher read us Philosopher's Stone, except a bit nicer. Aunt Petunia: She looks a bit goofy, but I could imagine her having that reaction, when spying at her neighbors. Dudley: He looks like a spoiled brat, kinda like in the movies, except blonde. Lucius: He looks very similar to the movies, but he does give me some LOTR elf vibes too. Narcissa: She's way more beautiful than in the movies, but you can still see that arrogance shining through. Fleur: Simply stunning, especially the gaze, although the eyes are a bit off. I could still buy any guy falling for her. Cedric: He looks cool, but I think the movie did the character better. Cho: She's very cute. I love the way she blushes. This is totally her talking to Cedric. Umbridge: Way closer to the book than the movie version, although the latter played the personality really well.
Definitely not better looking than Patterson haha 😅 Anyway, it’s very hard not to sound a little judgmental when we are specifically discussing looks, right? Very fun video!
The thing with many AIs is that the way they work is they are "trained" on a huge dataset of pictures what to draw for a keyword, and most images are considered pretty people, so thats why it most of the time it draws a more good looking character no matter what you write. Using a different checkpoint for the generation could make them look extremely different
You should also consider doing hunger games or Percy Jackson Ai images from those books as well. I found Dolores umbridge so funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 they all look so good. The AI version of Neville looks like the actor that plays Dudley Dursley.
Love this! Would love to see more whether its more Harry Potter characters, Hunger Games, Star Wars, etc. Umbridge was hilarious and loved how much Dumbledore looked just like Richard Harris.
personally, I love videos like these where we get to see Morgan's personality shine through. While i appreciate all the effort he outs into his usual videos, its nice to see videos like this where hes more relaxed and talks about his own opinions. even if he was a bit mean, hey, at least he was self aware 😂
I think you should've included the personalities described in the books in the search terms (Dumbledore's twinkling eyes, Hagrid's warm black beetle eyes, Luna's spiral glasses, etc.). You'd either get a more accurate picture of them, or something hilarious or terrifying.
You loved Charlie because he kinda looks like you in that AI hahaha Great video, amazing idea. My favourites so far (came to comment after Charlie): 1- Ginny, I would go crazy for her if this girl went to my school 2- Percy, how I imagined him 3- Snape

Definitely not most charming eyes though XD zoom in and they’re not quite right
The Tom Riddle one scared me cuz it included his DIARY!!!
Yh literally, and when Morgan asked AI to do dumbuldore, he didn’t mention wand, and the image shows dumbuldore holding a wand

He didn't talk about the award- but the AI realized "ok, I can tell who you mean!"
The one for Lockhart is KILLING me.
It’s absolutely something I could see him signing autographs on 🤣

That Ron one was legit pulled from Hogwarts legacy 💀

@@nunoneves5809Ginny is not a meh character, she’s great, she just wasn’t developed anywhere near as much as she should have been.
@@Louis-si4ci I think because he uses verbatim text from the wiki in which it also frequently mentions the character name, if the AI searches and uses the character name as a reference (which I assume it does), then there will almost always be a large influence from the movie actors, at least for the main cast.

Nah it was because Rowling wanted Rickman for Snape, so they had to age up the rest.
Personally I think the result for Lily is much prettier than the result for Fleur. Also you should definitely do this for the Percy Jackson characters!!

He looks perpetually cross-eyed.
This is why I pray the developers of the Harry Potter reboot go the photo-realistic animation rather than live action. AI understood the assignment better. Ginny was spot on! I always saw these characters close to how PotterBlvnk draws them.
I love PotterBlvnk
Um no
Also, this version of Bellatrix, was basically Katie McGrath (Morgana from Merlin)
I thought.
I always say have it be anime so that the original seiryu ( Japanese term of voice actor) who did dubs can come back to record again.

Exactly true. I remember the "toad-like" thing and was disappointed when he forgot to describe. But the result is perfect. Yay AI.
I think you should have left out the Hogwarts houses in the description, that way AI might have taken the movies as a source as well. Because I felt all of the characters looked a lot like their movie counterparts. Also, it´s totally fine to put on your glasses they don´t look bad on you and you need to see properly.
Love the video you think you could do this with other films such as The Hunger Games
"horse faced" is how Petunia is described in EVERY BOOK
Always found it hilarious that both Harry & his dad had a thing for red heads 😆
more like harry had mommy issues
With unrealistic beauty standards already being what they are today, I pity the future generation who is going to feel like they have to compete with not only real life enhanced celebrities, but also with AI crap 😅 (I also pity future artists loosing their jobs to this😢)
Well spoken!
5:42 Part of me feel like Bonnie Wright and Emma Watson should've been switched.

Lol I was so hoping you would do Umbridge. I saw an interview with the actress where she reacted to the book description and said “I think I should be insulted that I got the part”. Lol
Update: You absolutely uploaded this, and I love it.
Your reaction to umbridge was AWESOME. I don't know if I reacted more to her AI or your reaction to her AI 😂

Tom Riddle in The Chamber of Secrets movie really to me was so perfect in my opinion. Whenever I read the books I picture that particular actor in my head as Tom Riddle. They did a great job with that actor
My thoughts:
Harry: Spot on.
I agree about Lockhart, but the actor was also too old. Lockhart was only 28 when he became a professor
Definitely not better looking than Patterson haha 😅 Anyway, it’s very hard not to sound a little judgmental when we are specifically discussing looks, right? Very fun video!
Fr I had to stope the video when he said that and see if I wasn’t the only one who disagreed like I was GOBSMACKED
Like jaw on the ground
The thing with many AIs is that the way they work is they are "trained" on a huge dataset of pictures what to draw for a keyword, and most images are considered pretty people, so thats why it most of the time it draws a more good looking character no matter what you write. Using a different checkpoint for the generation could make them look extremely different
lol Morgan awkwardly admits Bonnie Wright was pretty enough to play Ginny
You should also consider doing hunger games or Percy Jackson Ai images from those books as well. I found Dolores umbridge so funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 they all look so good. The AI version of Neville looks like the actor that plays Dudley Dursley.
I would definitely want to see that too
Ugh yes, I want this so bad with the Hunger Games!!
I actually looked to see if he had made a Hunger Games video like this and was disappointed when I couldn’t find one
3:05 OML HARRY'S IN SLYTHERIN
You loved Charlie because he kinda looks like you in that AI hahaha
Great video, amazing idea.
My favourites so far (came to comment after Charlie):
1- Ginny, I would go crazy for her if this girl went to my school
2- Percy, how I imagined him
3- Snape
