Isa, thanks for this lovely video, things has definitely change over the years but I can still remember certain places you’ve just driven through on your video. Labasa will always have a soft spot in my heart been my birthplace.
Isa, thanks for this lovely video and a trip down memory lane. Labasa, been my birthplace will always have a soft spot in my heart. A lot has change over the years but I can still remember some of the places you’ve just driven through.
From birth till the age of 8, We lived in Labasa, back then growing up I didn’t know the names of roads but I can still vividly remember some of the places you’ve just driven through. Let me see, you started off from Nanuku St then you turned left onto Nasekula Rd (main St). Then turned right onto Damanu St before joining James Madhavan St. Just before turning right onto Damanu St I can spot the the fencing for my first primary Sch. (St Mary’s Primary). Used to walk along past Labasa College or sometimes cutting through Labasa College to get to school. Wow them fences at the College were different back then & also buildings were at a minimal along Damanu St. As you drove along James Madhavan St, to the right is the Police Bks. ( that’s where we lived). Wished you’d followed that red bus @ 1.30 mark onto Nadawa St so I can get a glimpse of the the Police Bks once again. Can’t thank you enough for this trip down memory lane. Vinkwa.
Thanks for showing Vunivau. Saw my family home first time for years.
Welcome.
