I guess it would be a paradox if it started debuffed but what you're saying is like the order is given to execute a prisoner, the guard executes them and says "I can't execute them, they're already dead." To which the warden says, "are you okay, Eugene? You've already done it, you killed them. Do you think you'd benefit from counselling?" and the guard, Eugene, is like, "No, I'm good. I'm just demonstrating a paradox" and the Warden, let's call her Patty, is thoughtful and eventually says, "well, I'm going to send you for a psychiatric evaluation... STOP MESSING WITH THAT BODY. He's already dead, Eugene." Either way there's no paradox
I think the final boss encourages keeping the tarot / use cards around so you can change the card that gets selected for you into something better if it picks a bad card
I love Balatro and I love Reto, which is why, I guess, TH-cam waited until Valentine's Day to give me the notification for this! (I would also love to see a serieeees!!!!
So excited for this game to finally release, it's a super fun game even in the demo. I'm also waiting for a similar-ish game that for some reason didn't pick up as much called Dungeons and Degenerate Gamblers. I'm not sure why, but it could be the difference in art style and mechanics.

hey rito, I was trying to find a specific video, but i'm having trouble. It's a Revita video, where you were doing a shard 30 run I think to get gold for one of the guns, and you ended up not getting hit up to acceptance, and you decided to end the run there to get the no hit achievement. I've been trying to get that same achievement for awhile lol. Just a reminder of how much better you are lol.

There's a setting to speed up the game and it really helps with the later hands.

yep played D&DG a few times now, it is probably my preferred, but it also isn't out yet so who knows!
