Really enjoying this series! After watching a few others play bazaar & not enjoying it nearly as much as watching you. I found myself saying "That's not what Retromation would have picked" I really enjoy your thought process and how you make your buods work based on the choices you make!
Chris army knife is potentially my favourite item! Having nearly every keyword means you find upgrades for chris easily, and being able to shield and attack at a short cooldown makes him super versatile and able to benefit from so many passives
There's two interesting notes with the whole consistent build creation angle you discussed at the end of the episode. First of all, and most obviously, making a good build is literally the entire game. That's it. That's the game. If you think there's RNG in the build creation aspect of the game, that just means the game has variety, which is probably a good thing? However, secondly, there is such genuine skill expression in being able to maximise the value of any build the game is pushing you towards that a lot of players don't have enough practice with. Off-meta builds DO exist, and they DO work, especially in well-balanced games. There is no run where you do not get items. You might not get the items you want, or the items you know are objectively the best, but every single run gives you items, and especially in a game like this where you CAN take a few losses, it's up to you to build whatever you think will eventually win with the items you're given.
You might be happy to learn that you can know how much space you have left in your backpack. Just above your chest, there is a blue bar that tells you which item slots are used. It's such a magnificent QoL when you know about it.
I'm enjoying this series. But it feels like the game is missing something. You finally get all pieces in place and then it's over. Needs a final boss or endless mode or something
Frankly, it only feels like that on a perfect 10 win 0 loss game to me. Even then only sometimes. The rare game where losing a lot can sometimes make the game more fun. Games where you lose all the way down to the life protection mechanic then winstreak to 10 wins feel incredible, and are much longer.
I am not sure if people are still bad at the game or what, but I have been farming 10 wins in ranked for days now - and to be honest its kind of killing the enjoyment for me. It almost feels like the snapshots are too general and I would prefer if they favored stronger boards. I am on a 24 game 10 win streak and its just kind of losing its allure.
I got screwed a lot just by trying to force builds, but I had a lot of success after I started to just take every item into consideration and try to make the best out of it, and go into a specific build if I see the oportunity. Like I have in mind 2 or 3 builds per character, but I don't try to force any of them. And try to win early day fights, because later the game gets crazy, it's much easier to get a perfect victory with no losses than it is to win 10 games after day 14 or something.

He's kind of like a Swiss army knife in that regard

You sounded so betrayed when you noticed piranhas aren't friends :')
It's true though
Piranhas are not your friends
They trash talk you behind your back
He forgets every time 😂
He forgets every time! (2) 😂😂😂😂
I think at this point it's out of protest to the devs.
What's a little biting between friends
So comforting watching you're commentary reto! Still the best Bazaar coverage imo

Yep! I am aware, it is nice. I just like to check my bag a lot because it helps me remember my game state better.
@@Retromation Yeah, I kinda figured later in the video. Thought it would still be a nice thing to highlight in the comments.
I believe you can tell he possesses that information when he buys gumballs.
@@LaserStorm117 Haha, yup, that's exactly when I saw he did too.

If I had a penny for every time Reto thought piranhas were friends...
@@Mortarion-xt9wp Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
gor-gon noble, my favorite bookstore, is a premium joke that I laughed at, that is awesome
43:25 Walter Cooler in the final build is a direct representative to how amazing this game is
The game is amazing, but it’s more he couldn’t find a replacements small friend to slot in
@enriquepadilla4172 I watched that baby all game, it was hard to replace
when you have friend core, DJ bot probably stays in the stash for its upgrade trigger, but you don't need it to scale the nanobots!
Loved the Gorgon Noble book store bit.
I've really been enjoying the series. I'm not playing and I don't think I plan to, but watching you play has been great.
Super into it as well! Ty for continuing the series!
In a pyg and vanessa build dominant world, dooley is the unexpect champion they lost to. Absolute cinema
Liking and commenting on the video to support the series.
I feel you should make yourself a challenge run, really enjoying this series.
31:35 🎶Discovering something that doesn't exist🎶.
This the third times you say piranha was not a friends. 😅
I will say it until it is wrong
been playing for a few days now loving it. - been struggling with vanessa the most in particular getting her to scale after the first couple days.
7:39. Imagine if you could get googly eyes as an item and do this
That last fight was epic 😂
couldn’t wait for another dooley run :)
The robot friends are so cute I would have trouble selling them.
This keeps making me want to play
First Aiden is busted

Seems every time I get a single diamond piranha the fishing net seems to stop working
I also like Dooley the most. Though I think pyg is strongest because of economy
An endless would be so nice
Always forgets that piranhas aren't friends
I'd say it still ended up as shield build not burn build

you are playing beta where not many people are playing because they can't.
ive been playing this game since yesterday, and i cant get the hang of it all. i dont think its for me and i wish i could be better
