I hope we get more Ambush cards like Greed’s butt. It’s actually a mechanic from Lost Cards Encore. A four souls mod expansion mostly made by Bustin Blotch but he had others work with them. One of those people is Sevenut who worked with Edmund during the Four Souls Requiem’s development.
27:08 Greed Butt can't be used to waste attacks because it forces the active player to make an *additional* attack against it. Not to mention, in the late game, it's likely the winning player has good enough items to easily tear through an 8/2/1 Monster (Not an 8/3/1), so it ends up either being a minor nuisance to them unless they roll some 1s or just a free 13c they can just use to buy another item that might seal their victory.
14:31 You actually kinda can use it when someone is attacking. Kinda. Attack and purchase declarations are a little weird in that you don't actually name specifically what you are attacking / purchasing, but instead just that you are about to attack / purchase SOMETHING. So if someone declares attack while theres a low risk, high reward monster in play, and you figure thats what they are going for and want to prevent it, you actually CAN ehwaz. Additionally, since they already declared attack, they can't take it back, they are forced to attack one of the new monsters / the top of the deck. Will also point out that if they say "I declare attack on X", you can still ehwaz them, its treated as them revealing info that they didn't need to (just like how theres nothing disallowing you from telling everyone the exact cards in your hand, or telling everyone what you plan to attack before your turn starts). If they say "I declare attack", wait for responses, and THEN specify, then at that point the attack target is official and therefore you can't ehwaz it.
13:10 Obviously the bottom deck is useful so that characters like eve can't fetch it out of discard, but the biggest impact of going to the bottom of the deck is that it means the sun can't be copied by pop pop or something. Thats because a copy of the loot card / effect isn't a real card, and therefore can't go to the bottom of the deck, and therefore will fail the "if you do" condition and just end up doing nothing. 15:36 I've never got to do it yet, but I really want to fizzle big play, like a chaos card or something, by using a death card + a holy card on them, or something similar (probably will happen in a game with the lost). 18:22 This card feels a bit finicky sometimes since people can just respond to you putting it on the stack, and it doesn't fizzle things already on the stack so you can't use it like a butter bean either. But then I learnt that you can use it in response to someone tapping their character card, which will cause get out of jail to resolve before they are able to play that card, since their extra loot card for the turn hasn't resolved yet. I think thats a pretty cool use for it. 19:06 Fizzles the "if you do" condition on chaos card and similar "destroy this" items! One of the very few counters to those items going off. 20:35 I mean, it kinda is a guarantee, since you can just use it in response to the monsters death entering the stack. 24:52 The actual definition of high risk high reward. Since you discard your hand as you put it on the stack you aren't able to butter bean in response to someone trying to butter bean it. So you potentially win the game if it resolves and you potentially lose the game if its countered. Kinda makes me doubt if its actually S tier just because the risk is so high. Like the other S tier cards are always S tier but I have had fiend fire be a dead card in hand some games where I deemed the risk to not be worth it. I feel like something like high priestess or gold bomb is better since sure the payout isn't as high but they are mostly risk free. 25:47 I'd almost say this is the best card in the game if it didn't have the weakness where someone can respond with something like a bomb, causing you to reflect that instead of the damage from the boss you were trying to reflect. 27:25 Only thing I hard disagree on in this video. Tbf, you definitely missed the fact that it gives you an additional attack, meaning it doesn't waste an attack in the way you were thinking, but still, 2+ is pretty easy to hit, and 13c is a lot. I don't feel like running the numbers, but I feel like the odds are in your favour, essentially making this "take 1 damage, gain 13c". I’m calling heresy on magic marker not being s tier, to me it is by far the single most versatile loot card in the game as it essentially turns you into Edmund himself for a single turn
lucky penny is a very funny card when you can copy it. once saw someone get 16 treasures by using it, blank card to dupe it, and pop-pop to dupe it again, doubling a 2-treasure boss kill 3 times
I've used Hierophant on another player free of charge. I wasn't trying to lose, I just wanted Derlium off the bloody field. What's even better is as soon as it died, another player used the emperor and banished it to the bottom of the monster deck. Get out of my life. Even better, the person that won the fight against delirium due to it ended up winning portable slot machine and I can't Believe it's not butter bean. Absolutely miserable. Also, everyone loves blank rune unless it's Laz playing it with a dice modifier live. Then it becomes scary.

Temperance being D tier is so wrong Like, you know you can just use it in response to a bad roll (that would kill you if it got resolved) and just take 2 damage for 8 cents instead? Maybe not as good in the lategame as you don't really die or play cents in general anymore, but a this card could give a sizeable early to midgame boost
