Nishant Bilkhiwal their is this thing on sketchbook where if you have a black and white drawing you can go to layers and change the layer into color and the layer that is changed into color can basically color you black and white drawing without coloring on top of all your work

I watch a lot of digital art videos to try and study/analyze what the artist is doing. I bought a new drawing tablet, downloaded Sketchbook Pro to learn how to use it because I don't want to pay for Photoshop, and your video not only taught me about Sketchbook but SO MUCH about digital art too! I finally feel like I can do this. Thank you!

I just recently purchased the subscription to Sketchbook Pro and I have watched this video 4 times already and nowhere near bored by it... I figure I will likely watch it a couple more times over the next few weeks. Really great learning video for a hobbyist like myself! Also I would like to add for anyone that may find this interesting... I am running this program on a Surface Pro 4 i5 8gb ram and it runs the program Extremely well!!!

I started using Autodesk Sketchbook 2 years ago.
Last year, My iMac died after it got a heatstroke during a 42°C summer...
Then I got a new PC. My first Windows pc. I had my Wacom Intuos Pro L before I got Autodesk Sketchbook.
Here I am, now... using Krita... And I still come back to this video sometimes...
AND I STILL THINK THAT I WILL NEVER ACHIEVE THIS LEVEL OF ART MASTERY

If you ever work in oils or acrylics, a great tip I remember is to use one common paint color when mixing colors. This really brought the entire work together as one cohesive piece. When I pick my colors, I do the same thing today, imagining a little burnt sienna or ocher in my greens, blues, or whichever color I make. In Photoshop, I'll even add a color layer on top. Sometimes it's a gradient to give the impression of depth. The greens dominate in this piece, and take away from the focal. I'd like to see the greens muted a let the figure in the center stand out. The composition is great, but the colors fight it.

    • @JasonScheier

It seems a woman came up to him and asked him to sketch something on a piece of paper.
He sketched it, and gave it back to her saying: “That will cost you $10,000”.
She was astounded. “You took just five minutes to do the sketch,” she said. Isn't $10,000 a lot for five minutes work?
“The sketch may have taken me five minutes, but the learning took me 30 years,” Picasso retorted.

Sketchbook is way better than photoshop to sketch on; the feel is closer to sketching with a pencil on paper.BTW was this done using a traditional pen tab or the one with a screen (like wacom cintiq)?

Hello Yadunandan, I'm going to have them both running from here on out! I love Sketchbook! I was using a Wacom 22HD mounted on a Ergotron Arm.

_There are some brush packs for easier use, but for me, the Smudge and Blur are a combo for shading and color blending._
_(And there are a lot to experiement on. But I wanted to try the Touch because I use Intuos Draw, since this needs a touch screen.)_

I've started using this app a month ago. Works for me. I'm using a Lenovo 10.5" tablet. I'm finger drawing at the moment. I'd like to use a stylus to draw. It looks like your using a laptop with mouse. I'd do that too. I'm enjoying it do far, till I want to get into better details

Is SketchBook Pro worth the money? Does SketchBook Pro fix lines for you? I have the Demo and, of course it's not going to be the best but I wanted to try it out. I shake a lot when I'm outlining and just in general, so my lines are always wonky, even though I have a styles (Hope I spelled that out right).

I really enjoy it, is easy to use, if you worried about shaky straight lines there is a tool that will create a line from point to point, shift button alows you to create virticle and horizontal line.
There is a perspective grid which also lets you create straight lines which go to your vanishing point

So uh, does it have a stabilizer in this program? To help the lines to get smooth, does it have a blur tool? Or something that blend that colors together?
