    I use Sketchbook as my normal art program, even after trying other paid programs like Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, and Corel 7. I just prefer this program and it's simplicity, also the fact that there's a library of free extra brushes that don't come with the program, and some of them are really useful.
    Thanks for the inspiration!

      I really love going back and forth between Sketchbook and Krita. I'm so glad they exist, I had recently cancelled my photoshop subscription because I was getting frustrated with it's UI system.

    I finally find a good video using sketchbook, all the other ones draw over a picture and sketch and color in only one layer, they’ll also use a total of five brushes. This video is very educational while comparing it to procreate and talking through your process.

    This is such a helpful video. I want to get into digital art and I recently bought a Wacom one and downloaded Sketchbook, but the whole process is so different from traditional painting I was really struggling to find my flow. This was a great video, I think I understand how to make the whole process a little more organic and creative now. Thank you ♥️

    Great work! :) Question: How do you use the select tool to paint an exact area without coloring outside it? I've tried with the lasso setting, but all I have managed to do is expand, resize and move the selected area around the canvas, so not exactly what I am looking for. I'd appreciate some tips with this, if you're familiar with Sketchbook Pro 6! Thumbs up!

    • @toulouse4209
      @toulouse4209 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What you do is add a new later below your sketch or line work and fill it in with solid color. Then when you have your area full of color you click on the symbol that looks like a lock on the layer section your are coloring. It’s 4 months late so you probably figured it out but there ya go

      On top of your tools panel, you can see on the right a little icon with some squares on it. If you click there it opens up a panel called Brushes Library. Over there you have all the brushes that you can then keep open or drag and drop on to your tools panel. I hope it makes sense :)
