"Hardest fight you'll come across" Me: *Literally walks up and takes its stealthy and begins to use it to violently destroy all living being in the tristate area*
I ran in expecting the primals as I had seen them from a distance earlier and decided to avoid the area for the time and there was no enemies at all. I was disappointed as I needed some exp to level up lol.
hmm.. sounds awfully similar to how the LMG is hidden in Quarry Junction. Or maybe Obsidian just has a thing for lmg's guarded by hords of powerfull enemies in dug in areas.
Maybe someone can make a unique LMG for New Vegas with the same name, and put it right there in Quarry Junction. Or put it alongside Mercy in the cavern.
Found this gun on my own. Took it literally into the final boss fight, tinkering it through the whole game. Shredded the bosses health in half right away.
Yep. When I was still in the vale I killed these primals with a plasma rifle, found ol reliable, tried it out, realised it uses a ton of ammo, and went right back to my plasma rifle.
"It's not the best choice, it's spacer's choice", reminds me of the coffee. Taster's Choice! If you're old enough, you'll understand! It's an old commercial.
make sure you search all the corpses and boxes in the Primal Lair as almost every playthrough i found tactical shotgun there. And if you want to make this fight easy, there is a house near the Primal Lair where lies corpse of some tech who tried to reconfigure a drone. There is a plasma rifle next to it, it will make quick work of any primals.
@@djpyco5677 yes but for the RPG aspect fallout 4 world is more fun to me. a technical area other worlds is better yet to run into a glitch and its mind blowing that the follower can jump to locations I do and not just runn around not knowing how to get to me. I still like fallout 4 It fell short in the rpg aspect and narrative. But outer worlds falls short in getting lost in the map. Exploring it's still fun you can find secret weapons but there's not enough.
I discovered the weapon when I decided to see if I could cheese the fight. I climbed partway down from behind the Nest into a groove in the cliff. I was able to take out several of them using a Hunting Rifle and from they scattered far away out of vision. Once I got down to go after the stragglers I sniped the remaining bigger threats and used a Sawed-off Shotgun to get rid of the smaller Primals that made it to me.
Old Reliable is great, but its real strength is that it lets you clear the Cascadia landing pad with ease, as shown in the video. After that, with a bit of stealthy hiking, you can get the Raptidont from the Big Damn Hero in another cave and boom, best LMG in the game right there.
What's that? A unique weapon that's actually unique and not just differently named with a different status effect? They're really showing Bethesda up now
Yea dude it's the base light machine gun not even the looks have changed I'm pretty sure...side note alot of uniques if not all apart from science weapons do NOT have a unique appearance.
I’d like everyone to remember that they built everything from the ground up and it wasn’t with a AAA title budget either. You’re seeing a tiny budget game at work, compared to most games on the market, and it still is higher rated than most AAA games this year. This is what I’d called the fallout 3 of the outer worlds universe. Now that they got Microsoft backing them, let’s see how much better future games are from them.
YOU CAN GET THIS GUN WITHOUT FIGHTING THEM - If you get up on top of one of those big obsidian rock cliffs and snipe at them while sneaking, they will all run really far away and if your quick you can run down into the valley and get the gun befor they get back. Thus they won't agro to you. Hope this helps some of you who are struggling with this fight.
This reminds me of FONW. In the quarry near Sloan, there's a deathclaw nest with some crazy alpha and mother deathclaw, there you also find a light machine gun

I'll try that tonight hahahahah... died 4 times before even knowing the weapon was there xD now I know it's there I really have to get through to the weapon
I used a hunting rifle and took out all the primals, I perched on the hillside that sloped too high for them to get me, the never knew where the shots were coming from and I killed them all, took some doing, but I killed 'em good pa!
So, weird bug. Tried to beat the primals like 3 times and failed. Left and came back to the area, and they where gone. I was able to loot in peace lol.
My starter guide :p. just have the last stat all the way up. You literally can't be killed. You heal super fast. I kill, I run, I heal, by the time, I'm done running, I'm all the way heal, I come back, I kill any remaining baddies. No medicine needed. I also play melee.
Sorry to burst your bubble my dear boi but unless your using the raptidon killing heavy laser machine gun from what I can only assume is a doom Easter egg on monarch then my tiny winy auto mag pistol beats yo ass hahaha
I have 2 pistols. Both are Bolter 2. One with acid. One with plasma. One Prismatic Hammer and one Light Machine Gun with Electricity. All of them have been tinkered until I ran out of bits. Play stealth. When that fails. Destroy all things.
I managed to pick this up early on (Normal difficulty), and used it for a while, but eventually went to assault and sniper rifles. It is great, but being a machine gun, you'll go through a lot of ammo. The rapid degradation of weapons in TOW is a bit much for my taste :-)
I sniped at them from top of the ridge. They don’t seem to be able to figure out a way to get to me. I killed most of them that way before the few left went into hiding. They hid real well and did not appear until I went in to start looting.
