Yup childhood creates a massive false hype for life it all just ends in early adult hood in just a massive disappointment for majority of the people, some even during teens.
Keep life super simple is my best advice. Keep life super simple. Don't overthink anything. I realized that while watching an old cringe movie where two kids got stranded on an abandoned island. The story is that they fell in love there and had an amazing life. Good food every day. Good weather. Just playing and swimming every day. No jobs. No deadlines to meet. One day a ship came to rescue them and they didn't want to go. That made me realize our western world where we work just to live is pretty insane. I have since told myself I will live like that. I spend so much more time in nature. I work on my body every day to be fit. I eat good food and cook. I go hiking deep into the forest at night with just a torch, just to feel the adrenaline and pure wildness. I have encountered some wild animals already. And it has really worked, I don't know what it is but my life feels exciting. I have gotten a lot more comfortable being social too somehow and even seek out people. Also girls seem to like me a lot more. I even told one about the crazy lifestyle I'm living and she loved it. Yeah, this really helped me, going back to simpler living. Man wasn't made to do this modern life thing. Really I recommend it. It is egoistic in nature because you're just living for yourself, but it is so fulfilling.
i want to make some ideas from my side. I'm in my 30's, only now I realised the false reality I was living in my 20's in all life areas. i found out how many things I was doing wrong! and now life is less stressful because you not pushing yourself without necessary. regarding health, you'll need to work harder to maintain your health, good food, sports and movement daily, fresh air and being positive. All that requires some effort. but you understand life better and your body is more balanced. for example re hormones for men, they not skyrocketing and there is no high need for women later age as needed in 20's. Soo there are plenty of good things being older.
I'm a young man, but life can get better, chief. It's all about perspective and the actions you take. Ignore all the noise on social media. Know what's going on around you. I would suggest not being entirely selfish. Helping other people without expecting anything in return WILL make you feel better in the long run. I know there's a lot of ugly people but we're all in the same struggle (us in the Western World at least).
@@JamieBrown1995 It's not that cut and dry, man. Don't be a doormat. Of course. If someone comes at you in an aggressive manner, fight back. Defend yourself. An eye for an eye. But if you see someone struggling at work, or Uni, or on the side of the road, it might be a good time to lend a helping hand. You don't know what they've been through. Again, we're all in the same struggle in the First World. There are so many lost souls out there. Use discernment, of course, but I think you'll know when it's the right time to help someone out.
getting older doesnt mean life gets worse you make life as you want it ..the best way you can .you can can get worse any age theres children who have terminal illness ..and no you would not like to go before your time just be be thankfull you are not suffering physically.
First of all you're still relatively young. Take care of your body and more importantly your mind, in which case getting older does not have to be a torment. There are good things about getting older, you start not giving shit about many things, you get tired of living in a way, there are not much more new stuff you can see anymore, only more of the same stuff, it gets boring in a sense. One more important thing, you seem depressed and stuck in materialism. If you look at things that way than there's no hope. Try looking at yourself as a spiritual being with material experiences, not other way round. We're so much more than our mortal bodies. The older I get the more I realize that that's not just some mumbo jumbo, but that there's deeper truth to that. I'd never go back when I was young and get trough all those painful learning moments again, I'm good where I'm now and I try to use the time I got left getting ready to move on to the next plain of existence, which I'm positive exists. Btw, I'm 46 and healthy, thank god. Big it up and stand proud, no time to waste. You have a big job ahead of you of earning your place by god's side.
I can kind of understand where you are coming from but in all honesty I feel like you are dwelling too much on what you have been through rather then putting positive energy into your future. You are obviously a young man still and have many years ahead of you, focus on changing your surroundings to make a place you can thrive and feel the true joys of life. It is not Gods fault we make the decisions we do❣️I recommend you go visit the countryside and spend some time in nature and find yourself again 🙏The city life always makes me feel as you do but when I come home to the country to my little tiny home by the forest I feel true peace🕊️😊👍Nice chat but don't let life keep you down🕯️
If the AI singularity happens then medical science could leap forward to solve a lot of the problems. Some people are predicting that may happen in the next 10-20 years. I'm somewhat sceptical about it. I'm almost 52 now. Most certainly can't do some things that I used to be able to. For example I used to love running when I was young - but now there is absolutely no enjoyment in running - it's more of a torture - so I just walk now instead. If you could extend your life massively - are you sure that you would actually want to? It really depends on whether you are enjoying life or not.
I don't really think it has to be that way if you put a routine in to eat healthy and go to the gym and lift some weights. At least you can prolong your healthy years drastically.

Facts.
Life in general sucks. All you do is work to pay sodding bills!
unless you look at alternatives like living off grid

thanks for the comment
when you're alone... im older and my life would be hell if i didnt have my wife and kid.
I have pity for this man. Bitterness really grinds you down and beats you down. And I understand this perspective since I had it for a long time.
Have fun
After a 15 year hell marriage, life is great. Remember to appreciate the little things!
glad you feel better now, of course not everyone life gets worsr
Read up on Stoicism.
Everything is in your mind, if you say it so, it will become so. That goes for anything you can imagine.
i hear about self fulfilling prophecies so maybe it's not a good mindset to have to think it will get worse

At 61, I can confirm that notion, one thing after another..

Have children, dont be selfish and you will not have to die alone.
wrong
Bringing children into this demented world so you won't have to be alone is ABSOLUTELY the most selfish thing a person could do.
It is a very nice sentiment but unfortunately it doesn't always work out that way. 😒 I apalogize for saying it was absurd, life has made me cynical.
depends if you look after them properly and give them the best chance of doing well for themselves
each to their own
