@@r56865 this unit gives some great results for the money it costs, I think without the one hiccup with high heat that was not the fault of the unit but the environment it would have been a perfect hatch. Down the track and after I move where I am looking for greater numbers of birds I will go to a more professional set up.

I just bought some chicks from my local feed store. Half of them died. The clerk at the store said that the truck bringing them to the store sat in a traffic jam for several hours and the shipment of chicks got chilled. It made them sickly. I'm going to try to hatch my own next year.

My Number 1 tip Cindy, which is still to come in the next video, Get a broody hen to do the brooding. A little bantam hen will do the trick for that as they go broody at the drop of a hat.
