I met Steve Holman many years ago on a long run I was doing. We chatted a bit. He seemed like a very nice guy. I don't think he ever performed up to his potential though. He could have been AMAZING!

He's an amazing amazing person senior athletic trainer in the area and there's a lot of track and field events as a starter or meets I should say

Holman was not a basket case at all. He was super nice and very smart. I really felt bad for him back then and people were so unfair.
he ran wide the entire race and physically fell apart. everyone has had a day like that he just had it at the wrong time/s
