hey mate, not sure if you saw my message with link to footage in a comment of another of your videos. I mentioned we bought our van in NZ and took it with us to Brisbane where we are now. I think you can buy one cheaper than you say, in Auckland. I got mine in absolutely perfect condition, 77000km, 1998, for NZ$ 10,000.00, and there were a few that cheap.
No didn't see. For real? Even now? I checked trademe all I found were 2wds and 4wds without sunroofs most of them were kiwi butchered, ugly mags, hack job sound systems etc, bad paint. I'm about to drop thousands on maintenance for this plus thousands in shipping and rego in NZ so I'm kinda worried. Maybe I should sell it and find something local in NZ....but I love this one and know it intimately.
Love the thoroughness of the content of your videos...helpful to those of us with similar model hiace Supercustom. I live in NZ and fair comment on the anal compliance from the motor vehicle industry. Number one advice from me to you once arriving here wherever you settle....try to obtain offstreet undercover for your van. Four seasons in one day over here and plenty of rain and harsh sun. Finally high presence of salt in the air and rain too.
Thanks bro much appreciated. I grew up in NZ so well aware of the dodgy wof places not looking forward to 6 monthly and random stickers all over the windscreen. NZ climate is mild compared to Japan/ Australia but yeah agree, undercover is always best.
Although the videos you make are very niche, they are of high quality and invaluable to the hiace community around the world. Thank you.
Thank you ✌️

There’s some relatively cheap koito headlights out there
What model are these? I’m looking for a left hand drive pattern for my 96. Great videos! Any links?
Love the wheels on your van, looking for a set for my own, were they difficult to get your hands on?
Bridgestone Berg from Japan. Easy to buy online, expect to pay $1100+ for shipping. Only option is DHL or FedEx
Oh awesome, do you know if they come in a 5 stud pattern for the 2wd hiace?
Unfortunately not they were all 6 stud.

Im well in NZ. Vision sold and in Perth still. Being turned into a camper 😓
