State of Zerg balance is awful. Some nerfs were appropriate when Serral won every tournament for years in a row. But the nerfs have continued non stop since then

Yeah, i always thought that it would be cool if the "hero tag", that only the mamaship has, the effect of beeing immune to all spells. Maybe a little brocken..

Serral is so good they keep nerfing Zerg now if you want a 40% winrate on Zerg you need 29 hands and 14 keyboards with 174,000 apm
i already watched those, but with cameras, you always cover them when i finish watching them in the studio with a crowd.
Watching herO is always so frustrating. He has a lot of great ideas but the F2 A army button always causes so many unforced errors i.e., sending disruptors to their doom at 39:10.
Kinda surprises me that pro players use that hotkey.

Serral makes Zerg look op from first second he touched starcraft. I am pretty sure that first zerg nerf ever was caused by serral in some insanely random course of actions too
Yeah nope. Terran is OP. Much easier to play with them and if your good as Clem, no chance.
Terran needs nerfs. After the World Cup between clem and serral my interest for Sc2 waned 🤷♂️
Yeah it's pretty hard to say Zerg is the best unit after that tournament. Could say Protoss is the weakest unit in the game. Terran definitely needs a nerf badly and everyone is eyeing up those ghosts. Who seem to counter many units in the game. Wish to see more mech units.
It's not the unit. It's the player. Clem is just at a whole different level.
@@FountainPens-tt7up Could be the units if we assume each faction is played as perfectly as possible in a vacuum.
What drawbacks do terran has compared to the other races? Zerg trades its quick adaptability for their early and mid game in exchange for a not so stellar late game comp. Protoss seems to scale well into late game but their unit variety seems lack luster and not leaving them with as many options.
Terran seems to enjoy both what Protoss and Zerg benefit from, but doesn't seem to have any major drawbacks. They even have the benefit of being able to turtle pretty easily. They also have catch up mechanics like mules and after a certain point essentially global vision with their scans. Apparently when you can 2 shot the zerg and protross building units, it takes 3 shots to take down a scv, so the scvs are tanky as well.
There is also the bio unit comp being useful the entire time. While the zerg and protoss basic units kind of fall off as the game goes on.

I really really hope Serral figures out what to do against what Clem has been doing, because I personally just do not see how it could be done.
I even watched Lambo's breakdown of the matches, and I still don't see it being possible. Not sure if that just means the maps are too Terran sided, which everyone already knew, but even aside from that just, some aspects of the Terran kit seem impossible to respond to if they are actually intent on utilizing it to its full potential.

Lurker is easy to control, hard to kill when in groups. U need detection. All Protoss siege weapons are glass cannons. Air or ground, expensive and slow to produce. Make toss colossal ground instead of air. Or give toss a air unit like Viking. Produce fast And long range.

I've quitted playing zerg after saw serral plays.
Funnily enough I started playing zerg after I saw serral play and had thought its the most OP. I also thought the bugs were the coolest.
36:00 i mean if swarm hosts are somewhat good, they're a runaway train. After like the 2nd or 3rd wave, they bring so much value, in the "free" units.
At least that's what i think, and i just watch sc2, don't play it.

I want Serral to play other races. I think he will still be really good, but at least he will be on a more balanced race. Protoss is just flat bad.. Storm vs any other AoE is trash. I mean, Fungal has same aoe, does dmg, and slow, and fired from cloak.

zerg isnt currently overpowered, its just that protoss is underpowered. zealot movement speed, archon damage and tempest damage all need a buff. zealots and marines currently have the same base movement speed!
the difference is that zealots have a movement speed upgrade and marines don’t. like, I agree that Protoss is underpowered, but that was a really bad example
@@ZerglingLoverstimpack is a movement speed boost on top of one of the best damage upgrades in the game.
I mean the fact a Terran tier 1 unit dumpsters the same from Protoss that hard is pretty nuts. Simple fact is Warp-In is a dead end and has made it dang near impossible to buff Protoss without running into serious problems.
@@arbiterally101 stimpack also does significant damage to the army? terrans don’t use it to just get around, they use it in fights.
@@ZerglingLover look at you, the terran defender. "Charge temporarily increases the movement speed to 9.1, allowing Zealots to intercept nearby enemies" -- not the same as base movement speed.
@@ZerglingLovera chunk of HP off the top isn’t the worst price to pay to gain a massive spike in damage, and being able to once again match the speed of the Zealot. Especially when that cost can be returned in the form of Medivac healing.
They’re both critical upgrades, but ones just on a much more useful and notably cheaper unit. And if you try to adjust to fix that, it throws off the Zerg balance at the same time.
