I can listen to this song over and over. I'm a huge Beatles fan. Yet, still think this has much better effect on my personal feelings, compared to any of his dad's works.

This is a really great song. Mad respect to a guy who lives with the burden of losing his dad while having to walk in his shadow. I could totally see his dad playing this song right beside him. But I could also see Julian Lennon getting the respect he deserves on his own merits if his dad wasn't one of the best singer/song writers in human history.

Yeah and led Zeppelin should hire the singer from Greta van fleet and Jason Bonham and just go on and endless tour....seriously I would go see either but unfortunately ego....royalties...previous legal arrangements for touring rights and solo bands...marriages....decades old resentments.....family troubles rivalries....$$ and more $ oh and I did I say $???.... These things come before any notion of duty to the fans or honoring the music....as much as I selfishly believe they owe us something better than their solo bands and the fans deserve closures and one last chance to see the music.....if they weren't willing to do it in 1967 they def aren't going to want to tour now ....in the end I guess they (including Robert plant ) feel they have already given so much of themselves and that area of their life to the fans and they dont owe anymore....eh I kind of disagree.....the music of your main band will always define a rock stars career and be the measuring stick for anything else they do weither they like it or not....the best thing they can do is try to and own it themselves and steer the ship so nothing and no one else can say who and what they are and aren't...personally I come from the grateful dead school of thought once the album is released for a year or so and the music is out there on tour it belongs to the fans....if your going to have that kind of effect on people in a positive way and that big of an impact I believe you have a responsibility to reasonably deliver the goods when you can ...especially if your not making anything better or new....which neither Paul not Ringo have done since the early 90s ( not that they havent put out good music....just nothing terribly new or revolutionary( like Johnny Cash doing hurt or Aerosmith in the 90s making a pop come back) what the grateful dead have done....picking up John Mayer to fill in for Garcia...and guest musicians for the piano and bass (Phil could have done it ) to give the fans a modern /relevant version of their classic live show was amazing and it will go down as a great memory and final marker for what they stood for....the allman brothers did the same thing when what was supposed to be a limited run of shows at the beacon theater in 2003 turned into a couple platinum albums and 15 years of amazing tours and the best damn blues band in all of Georgia for a time...and they couldn't get everybody sober and on board but the show must go on (dickey Betts is still drunk to this day aying clubs as far as I know he sounds good tho)they could have quit in the 90s when they were inducted into the rock and roll Hall of Fame and gone out a bloated ....stereotype of the arguing...drug addled rock stars who burned bright then fizzled out but gregg pulled his head out of his ass and checked the calendar and went and found the world's best sljde player and the reincarnation of his brother Duane and some other great guys....and some original ones and made history all over again.....that is what Paul and Ringo could do right now if they act fast....they could even hire Jeff Lynn of ELO and do a three piece anything would be better than nothing.....but sadly just like zeppelin I fear the.most we will probably get is a rehashed remaster of some unreleased thing that's been floating around in some legal battle or stuck hidden in Yoko onos fire snare between her legs rotting for eternity out of her pathetic jealousy for people who are actually talented and beloved ...maybe we could get a new song with just the two of them? Yoko did all she could to squash this album "Photograph Smile" and this single off it , "Day After Day" .. Including threatening Radio Station D. J.'s with their job's should they play it.
