Just bought one of these from Travis. It's a great value and a gas to shoot. The flow through suppressor is a bit louder than a closed suppressor, but with 124gr and 147gr it sounds like a nail gun. Also, have to say that Travis's tool he includes with the gun makes it so much easier to remove that barrel nut. And recently he added a new cleaning tool for the SD. Love my APC9's, but this is a worthwhile investment and so much fun to shoot.
Thank you for the info I appreciate your time. I just got my SPC9 SD out of ATF prison. I also purchased the GHM9 SD the same as in your video but the suppressor portion is still waiting ATF approval. The can on my SPC9 SD is an exact fit for my GHM9 SD. It was a nice touch considering I wanted to use my GMH9 SD and thought I couldn't since I'm waiting on the can..... The GMH9 SD is beautifully made.....
Thanks for the tour of the GHM, I was not aware of the changes by generation. The KCI bumpers look good. I wish B&T would make a 9mm lower that took a metal mag, it would solve a weakness with the current mag. Some one is about to, or has, released a lower that takes MP5 steel mags - it might be a good way to go. Too bad about things in CA. The voters there love voting for gun control candidates. That said, it’s nice that you are offering a way to get a B&T if you are in that unfortunate state. Good video! Thank you!
With B&T naming on their cans, I can see how you'd slip and call it an "SQD"! Cool videos. It's always fun to see other people interested in this platform. Thanks for sharing. I did have a question regarding the billet lowers for the APC line. Are those all B&T manufactured lowers? I know they made the limited series with the Elftmann triggers (Elftmann also tells me their upcoming Apex design will have a B&T sku, though, I do wish they'd offer it with a basic straight bow/show, without an air gap, instead of the competition nub). There are the Glock mag ones, one that takes Scorpion mags (yuck), and the recent announcement of an MP5 lower (why?), and it's hard to find info on who makes them. Also, is it ever possible to buy the uppers on their own to save some money? For example, if I buy a billet lower, I'd have no need for an extra polymer lower. Thanks and keep it up with these videos and innovations.
Hi Jon, ref: metal lowers. BT is manufacturing metal Glock, SP5, and BT metal lowers now. The metal scorpion lowers are made by a different company. Ref: Elftmann triggers: I agree about the trigger shoe, would be nice to have a flat metal trigger vs the wire style. Ref: sale of upper only, we can do that but only for APC9K pro at this time. Please keep in mind price would still be high and the upper is the serialized portion on the BT firearms.
I thought the gen 3 had the folding charging handle ? I had bought mine from the armories . And it came with the folding charging handle and pro lower they said it’s the gen 3 lol ?
The folding charging handle is a separate upgrade part not unique to Gen 3. All generations also had the buffer at the back of the bolt (not unique to the Gen 3).

That tough. I have an sig rattler which I really like, but the APC300 is very nice too. The BT design is more simple but more refined than the Sig.
