Carter, thanks so much for putting these videos out there! I'm an aspiring landscape architect in an unaccredited community college program, so your content is an absolute godsend for helping me fill in the gaps in my education. Greatly appreciate you putting the effort into sharing this knowledge :)
Great stuff man. Not many people on TH-cam keeping it this informative for lamdscape architects. I work doing landscape construction and design and find your vids great on enhancing my designs, adding quality to them
Glad to hear that people are sharing the resource knowledge! I didn't find out about a lot of them till my senior year! and glad you found the extensions helpful!
Thank you a lot for sharing this! I did not know about these resources. This is just my hobby and now I am trying to design my home garden. Do you know any platforms that could be for free or for reasonable price (many of them offer enterprise subscription, unfortunately)?
Thank you! And yes it is very annoying how everything is subscription based now... it used to be a one time purchase thing. There might be some free options depending on what you are trying to do with them
I think I have a video that covers some of those skills, but mainly it's having skills in collaboration, communication and technical skills in various software's
I'm a mechanical engineer by day with no prior architecture experience, just trying to sketch out my backyard to scale for some landscaping/architecture ideas I want to bring to life.. I suppose I could use Autocad, but do you know of any software I could do this simple sketch in 2D for free or relatively cheap? An added plus if I can do that & also easily add realistic features to my landscape that turns it into a 3D rendering like the tools you mentioned in the video? Thanks in advance!
For sketching I would recommend using Morpholio trace as you can draw to scale very easily and the app is free. For something more advanced that could be used to also 3D model would probably be sketch up, you could cheat the system and download a free trial of sketch up and try to get all of the work done in the 30 days.
The value for me in Pinterest is purely a place to get inspiration from, it’s a great place to start if you are unsure of what something looks like or what ways people do them in

Hello Carter, 👋🏻☺️
Is there any website that shows a list of plants native to each state in USA?
The National Wildlife Federation and U.S Fish and Wildlife is the place I usually check first for area and regional native species

@@DesignItGreen Thank you so much 🙏
Sadly issue has started to charge for uploading stuff. And many documents like portafolios have gone under.
This is unfortunate news:(
How do you get any real purpose or value out of Pinterest?
