Wanted to say that I’ve always wanted someone to do these type of in depth lessons on E.C s style of blues playing especially for accoustic riffs etc…thanks so much and keep this kinda thing coming ❤🎸🎶
My acoustic balls are also severely underrated... 🎉🎉🎉 Sorry I couldn't stop myself... Now... better leave with my heavy underrated musical bluesy nuts... 🎉🎉🎉
Senior beginner from the UK here. Just stumbled across your channel but I am sooooo glad I did!! Excellent, clear and well produced video, thanks very much, I look forward to viewing more from you! Subscribed.
First, thank you for the content! Secondly, are you using software/app to slow down the video? If so, would you share the name of the software or app? It appears not to distort the audio quality. Thanks again.
First off all : very good lesson Bro ! But....I'm sorry to say but I don't understand your way of writing down these musical lines. For example I am pretty sure that in the first bar of the first turnaround you show us you start playing on beat two of a 4/4-bar but you don't write a quarter-rest. That's confusing. Bar two is suddenly a 6/8-bar, Why? In the other parts you write down there are lots of identical uncertainties and notation-problems. I guess you play it and let your notation-app does the layout of the notes in the bars? I think you have to check if it is clear for the reader. If I were you I would choose for 4/4-bars with shuffle/triplet/jazz/swing-interpretation. You know what I mean..This criticism is not to offend you because you are playing the stuff so exellent ! Keep up the good work.
Hmm weird, I normally always listen back to make sure it does sound coherent/like the original. My advice though: play with your eyes and not with your eyes, that is much more important. No offence taken! Thx you for watching the video :)
Just came across your channel and really love EC Blues especially accoustic style…I joined your channel and look so forward to seeing more and more of ECs blues lessons…Fantastic 🎸🎶
Excellent thank you. Clapton makes a very distinctive sound on acoustic. Obviously he's playing through an amp (do you know which make and model) and also a pick-up. Again make and model? It would be fun to try and replicate this unique sound. Once again, many thanks.
Man that is a good question! I believe the Eric Clapton Model has got an LR Baggs Pick Up, but into what PreAmp that goes I guess we will never know...I heard the Avalon U5 is awesome, at least that is what John Mayer is using. I don't think it goes into an Amp...
@@BenK. Can just speak for me: to learn licks is 1 thing - practicing. But to combine them is the tricky bit - maybe this could be a theme for a lesson? Or the fine bits of bluesy sound (e.g. bendings: bend notes at the end instead from beginning on) ...

Hey man, thx you so much! I actually just use the slow down function(fir fast sections atleast) here in TH-cam and then transcribe it with GuitarPro
