From a note standpoint no, but then there are no Clapton Licks as well. It’s more in the way they play the notes, that makes their style, it’s the touch
@@BenK. That's true. Clapton would have elements of all the Kings, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Jimi etc etc.. But you can nearly always identify a Clapton solo. SRV was the same. A lot of influences but you could always tell it was him. To his credit, Peter Green did generate a few original licks. Have you a solo in mind that shouts John Mayer? Just curious.
