    Love your work. As a fellow postie bike owner ( 1 x CT, 1 x NBC ) it is always good to see our toy receiving love. Not so impressed with paint job...leave the tape on? Really ?? Even I wouldn't do that....well not often. .only the one time...it was a rush job. I believe the screws heads are JIS Japanese Industry Standard not Philips. Similar shape subtle differences, Dr Gooogle can explain. Keep posting. Leon

      Hi Leon! Thanks so much for the comment and advice 😁
      I've been having a great time sorting out this postie with the sort of patch up repairs I could imagine a postal contractor conducting after a long day on round. A concourse resto of this bike would hurt the nostalgia of this particular bike for me.
      Agree JIS screwdrivers would be much better than the Phillips #2 Ive been using, especially for screw extraction!!!
      Thanks so much for the support, I'll keep working 😁

    How many turns are you doing on the carb

      @stiffysworkshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Do you mean the idle circuit adjustment? I start with it all the way in then unscrew 1.5 turns

      @@stiffysworkshop air/fuel screw

      @@caxx.g initially I set it wherever it takes to make the bike run. Usually way too far screwed in so the engine races. Then unscrew until the engine will idle smoothly in first gear without moving the bike or stalling. If you adjust the idle too fast the bike won't stay still while in gear.

      @@stiffysworkshop what fuel do you use ?

      @@caxx.g I use 91 octane fuel. Different countries measure fuel differently so if you're somewhere else an equivalent fuel might have a different number
