The last time I checked, Singaporeans can only buy properties above RM 1 million. So we can't buy small condo units. A small unit would be ideal for Singaporeans as we can clean it up quickly each time we go across. This is the reason why few Singaporeans are buying Forest City units.
Most Singaporeans do not use the skill future money (which is also quite low at $500 if I remember correctly). You could hardly use it to attend any real upgrading course and it cannot be used to buy relevant books. If you could use that money to buy books, you would notice you would gain a lot more if you put int the efforts to read them, understand them and apply the knowledge gained.
What "regret" ma? We dont think/speak about Singapore. It just dont exist in our everyday psyche. If anything, what I noticed online, it is Singaporean who keep bringing Malaysia in any topic. Lol. Just get over yourselves please.

I have a lot of relatives in Malaysia, I can always have a proxy,, but none can be sold below RM500K even apartments
