The kids will at least have stretched their brains in school, by exposure to a wide spectrum of things to do, and I think the kids and their parents will find out which activities they like, and which activities they will avoid if they can. I love his approach to education. I think its sad that we spend so much time going to school and once we graduate we are not really qualified to do much. I think nurturing your kids natural gifts and talents is a great idea. You are showing your kids that they each are different and unique and they will end up in a field that they love and/or creating their own business bc they will have spent their child hood becoming an expert in a specific area that they love vs the average person learning the basics of everything and not really having any type of advanced knowledge or skills in anything.

A college degree is not learning just learning a subject. It teaches you the subjects you are interested in and the ones you aren’t. It demonstrates you had the initiative to go to class to complete all the assigned work you were given. You also demonstrated you could interact successfully with a lot of different personalities. In other words you are responsible for yourself and capable of being a reliable employee.

From what I can deduce, he keeps them well and truly grounded. They don’t seem in the least bit spoilt and have a great time, I think, with their Dad. The fact that they have a grand education at their finger tips makes them fortunate, but not spoilt. I hope they grow up to be fine young men because I think that Elon is an exemplary Dad who is able to give them the most wonderful education any child could ask for. I really like the way he treats his children and he obviously loves them. As a teacher myself, I can’t fault Elon in terms of the way he is educating his children. It’s brilliant! Education must be geared to the individual child, and not a case of one size fits all. A teacher needs to take a holistic approach to each child.

That’s exactly how I feel about thr schoolinh system & why I wanted to keep my kids in private school, but homeschooling is definitely the way to go. Also having come from California, the school system out there is an absolute mess.
Both my son & daughter are highly intelligent & when you recognize that your children have certain gifts or skills, you should want their education to focus on developing those skills.

Many kids today will grow up and be screaming about how they were so underprivileged, but what are their parents doing right now to teach them? Are they left to TV and video games all day? Too many people think schools will just educate their kids and they have no responsibilities for it. It is your job as a parent to educate your children. A school is simply a tool that helps you! It is child neglect to not educate!

Loosers breed loosers, success breeds success, its hard to be a good parent so most kids are put on public schools to lessen the burden on parents but in return you get a mentally watered down child with depression, enxiety, and a false sence on what inelegant even is, all the kids with good grades from my year were deemed smart for having good grades in hs but don't have much of a plan after hs, im going to homeschool my kids cause public school makes average people/ workers
