It looks bad for sure. But, I will say there was a time when I was a single mom and I was so stressed about finances that important family stuff sometimes just couldn’t take priority. Long hours plus side hustling to make ends meet. It made no sense to others and was hurtful. Also, at times of loss, I cope by pouring myself into work, so relationships completely suffer. Just saying. Some things about this case just aren’t adding up to me just yet. I’m suspicious of the sister in law and this CL.

Amazingly, she was planning an entire series of books apparently. Books on grieving if children lose their mother, if a child loses a sibling, and on and on. There surely would have been a dog in there eventually. And, she didn’t even write the book herself. She had a book-writing company write the book for her and an illustrator illustrate it. She was reveling in her status as a young, grieving widow and mom. Going on tv and radio giving interviews. Newfound fame.
It’s amazing that once these killers are caught and in court they no longer can hide behind the facade and literally look like the hideous monsters they truly are - you can see the evil in her eyes

How do people bring themselves to take a life? I can not imagine taking away something so valuable and irreversible from anyone, let alone someone I’m close to. I can’t wrap my head around it.
I agree I will never comprehend. First, I don’t even understand considering murder as an option. Then go beyond that and actually seriously consider it and think of a plan. Then, actually decide to do it it!!! Which means actually think will get away with it. You would think that even if have no issue with murder the thought of prison might stop from doing it. It’s just beyond comprehension and just so tragic. The person is dead and their love ones hurt and the prep goes to prison. Such a waste and no real way to make it right.

Any thoughts on Kouri's family history? She really seemed determine to take her husband out & a bit cold hearted. Most humans can make some sort of empathetic connection to others, even if they've done wrong. I cant seem to feel anything towards/for her & that doesnt happen too often to me.
Thanks for the heads up on her history with CL. Idk if CL is holding back, but Im grateful for what she has been forthright about. She seemed to be a major key to being able to bring the case to trial, imo (from what limited I know thus far).

For example, did the family think that Kouri “struck it rich” or “married well”, or was Kouri from a similarly affluent background? Also, why was Kouri close to CL who used and dealt in drugs? Defense atty makes a good point that they did not take the glasses/cups from the house to test them for drugs. That sucks. That would have been nice to have to show fentanyl in a cup in the house.

I’ve worked in EMS since 2004 we use to do mouth to mouth with a mask, that has since changed we only do chest compressions. I had to do CPR on my own brother and I didn’t do mouth to mouth and thank God he survived. I do believe she killed him. The fact she didn’t have a transfer of fluids on her mouth means nothing. If EMS arrived and there was a foam around his mouth while they did CPR then in all honesty she probably didn’t do CPR because she did kill him. I’m sure her team will be able to work their way around that. The fact she didn’t do mouth to mouth means nothing.
I think you missed the point. Which is scary if you are an EMS. They indicated ONCE chest compressions were started, foam CAME from his mouth ( due to the thrusts on his chest) Nothing to do with her doing mouth to mouth.

@@coll4455 yes thank God he did it’s not something I would want anyone to go through it sucks having to do that. Two months prior my sister passed away a month later I almost passed and a month later I found my brother unresponsive and I immediately went to my training and remained calm.
