I dont know what culture youre from, but the only dress i would consider modest is the orange one. But I am a new Muslima and we are not your target audience. You would look great wearing a giant turnip, but for what its worth, i think the dark purple that your friends made fun of is absolutely beautiful. The pink, however, imho, is bordering on tacky.
