If you live in a place where it rarely rains and is always sunny and you only walk on sidewalks and drive around a lot they likely don’t get very damaged. I know weight is also a factor, Ashley looks like she weighs 50lbs which hardly wears much damage on a shoe, my mother however who is very overweight goes through shoes like tic tacs as they just fall apart with wear
I mix baby powder, water, and hydrogen peroxide and use my toothbrush to scrub them, and then I leave it to dry for 4 hours and then I do the smacking thing with your shoes where you slap them together to get the mixture off.
