Is the intro walk before the first fight no longer timed in the speedrun? I saw the timer started from 0 instead of 6:40 as before

For this category specifically it's not included at all. Other categories still have the race file timing

Hey man
Do you know how riddler unlockables work in Arkham City?
In Asylum, there's a very simple system. Each riddle/riddler trophy corresponds to a specific unlockable, so that riddler trophy will unlock such and such no matter what.
But in City, there's no rhyme or reason to it apparently. The same riddler trophy can unlock X thing in one playthrough, then Y thing in another playthrough. I'm so confused. I'm sure there's a pattern, I just don't know what it is.
I'm sure many people would like to do as little riddler trophy work as possible to unlock all challenge maps.

Fairly certain it's the same as Asylum, or maybe some of them are just tied to the number or something, but I haven't actually checked in a while since it's not particularly relevant to speedruns. It's definitely not just random though

It's definitely not like Asylum. In Asylum, EVERY trophy is tied to a specific unlockable (or none at all). Maybe that's the case for SOME trophies in City but definitely not all of them. I have tried picking up the same trophies that unlock challenges in YT videos and they dont unlock for me. Ughh

The walk isn't part of the run, we just load up a save file that's already done it.
