I think Patrick will bounce back, he did not play bad in Columbus he just missed some time if he is healthy there is no reason he should not score 35 plus.
Eh dude! From a Habs fan, I can assure you we are very very very excited about Laine. Sadly for him, we have number 29 retired since 2007 in respect for one of the best goalies of all time, Ken Dryden. Patrik will wear #92. I expect him to be very average in pre-season when he plays. He will mostly play with different lines, testing his chemistry, it'll be quick shifts for everyone and he won't take risk to make sure he doesn't get injured, but when the real season starts, I think and hope he will be a power forward with steady linemates. I joked that he will get 64 goals & 35 assists for 99 points if he plays 80+ games this season, along with the Maurice Rocket Richard trophy. That would be the dream, but just half that will also be acceptable.
Well Washington is going to be better than Montreal this year and likely the year after. In 3+ years the habs should be much better than caps, who knows if the players will still be there by then though

@@Koersky nah well b better as soon as this year watch..we have 2 first lines now and lane hutson
2 first lines? You have one decent first line if slaf can keep improving and play like he did late last year. I’m rooting for laine to score 40 again but I wouldn’t bank on him being a first line quality of player, might be setting yourself up for disappointment. Especially considering he won’t have great line mates if he’s not on that first line. I don’t even wanna know what other 2 players you consider to be “1st liners”. It’s pretty unlikely Montreal finishes anywhere other then 8th in their division
When the Jets were trying to unload PLD, there was a real probably he was going to end up with my Habs. Yet, in a twist of fate, it was Laine who ended up with my team. Let's just say I am relieved.

Laine probably has a higher ceiling than Dubois, but Dubois has the overall better team

Love the video
i feel sick seeing Laine on the habs. just sick.
They will both bounce back this season. Washington and montreal will look smart for trading for them.
Montreal is a terrible city for someone that just got thru Rehab....
u must be a leaf fan
Will Laine and Dubois bounce back?
I think Laine will. PLD maybe
Both became salary dumps
