It's a lot more work to remove every brb section in every stream, like it would add a lot of unnecessary overhead for just cutting out the brbs with the chance of messing something up in the encoding. For some streams it might be one brb but for other streams he might have 3 or 4, and the amount of brbs compounds over time. People also use the brbs as a chance to brb themselves, grab a drink, stretch, etc. It's also easier to set a "brb ends here" timestamp for people to use if they prefer than to completely cut out that section.

We used to sing Amazing Grace with her, and for a long time it perked her up and she'd sing, later hum, along. Eventually she didn't even turn her head in recognition. In the final stages, she was able to turn her head and look around. I believe now she is singing pretty in her old-lady-opera voice on the other side.

he literally fell for the “tree sentinel” thing again. he came across a huge enemy that kills you instantly and takes no damage from your attacks, an enemy that basically has the words “COME BACK LATER” written all over it and he spent half an hour trying to kill it and getting mad when he couldn’t.
I was quite surprised that people leave the Stone Talus for later. It took me a couple tries in my first playthrough, but once you figure out that it falls over if you hit the top rock with an arrow and then hit that same rock with the hammer made for breaking rocks, he goes down fast.
This audio quality is heavenly. I rewatch it often because the audio is even better then the one I bought on the kindle app. I know it's been a year, but please continue this book.
Once you accept that theres no wrong way to complete a shine and you know he'll finish the puzzle eventually, you no longer feel like screaming at the screen and instead you just have the best time of your life watching this man do everything he can to make the game harder on himself

he literally fell for the “tree sentinel” thing again. he came across a huge enemy that kills you instantly and takes no damage from your attacks, an enemy that basically has the words “COME BACK LATER” written all over it and he spent half an hour trying to kill it and getting mad when he couldn’t.
Thanks for the heads up, saved me quite a bit of time and stress trying to watch Jerma do this part with 3 hearts
To be fair, both Critikal and Vinny beat the Tree Sentinel on their playthroughs. Though, it was a long and painful experience.
I was quite surprised that people leave the Stone Talus for later. It took me a couple tries in my first playthrough, but once you figure out that it falls over if you hit the top rock with an arrow and then hit that same rock with the hammer made for breaking rocks, he goes down fast.

one of the many reasons I love this game is that, as jerma demonstrates here, it allows you to be so bad at solving puzzles that you circle back around and become good at solving puzzles with weird and "incorrect" solutions

I think I only solved one of the Great Plateau shrines correctly my first time through, I distinctly remember I did some weird hard solution to the Magnesis trial

Watching Jerma "solve" the shrines is like watching a pigeon solve a puzzle intended for crows.
Watching him do the dungeon with the ice puzzle (like when you first get the freeze power) was so infuriating cause he couldn't figure it out and it was so funny cause he made chat emote only so everyone was just spamming NAY it was so funny
Well technically during that shrine the Mods decided that from now on every time he entered a shrine they were putting it into emote only to always avoided chat giving him the easiest solution right away.

Chat was actually begging mods to do emote only for the shrines when they weren’t immediately implemented in the second stream. Turns out its much more fun to watch someone figure out things on there own… or in this case its funny to watch a caveman brute force a square peg through a round hole
