I miss the old Genting Highlands. It had so many public facilities and spaces which were open air, taking full advantage of the beautiful weather. The entire place had a sense of wonder, like a child's dream. Still, current Genting Highlands remains one of my favourite, most interesting places in the entire world.

Haven't been there in years and I can barely recognize Genting Highlands 😭 Sure, some parts look more inviting, but I really liked the feeling of being embraced by the nature and misty mountains rather than the view of tall modern buildings 🥺 Even the surroundings around the road to drive up there when you're coming from KL looks soo different (granted I haven't been there in years, but still)

Saya lihat malaysia ini mengikuti budaya inggris pembangunan nya dibuat seperti eropa benar benar membuat mata saya terpesona

I miss then too,. That time I was young, I just know that I have to walk down for Genting to park. But it's fun. 🤗
saya pergi tahun lepas bulan 10 mmg best cuma ada rollercoaster tu xbuka lagi aduhai. yg drop tower mmg thrill gila lah. kalau lemah jantung jgn naik lah.
Drop tower tu sy wajib naik. Kdg budak2 yg beratur siap tanya "Pakcik (sy 55) ok ke naik ni?" . Pakcik naik benda tu jerit sekuat hati utk release stress ok 😂
Genting Skyworlds ada 2 major coaster which is orange coaster and motorbike coaster both this ride had a problem with their manufacturer went bankrupt so that's the reason knp until now still not open

They’ve totally ruined the natural beauty of the mountains with such haphazard development, there’s clearly lack of proper planning, and some structures built on slopes look unsafe. Turning into another Cameron Highland. When will they ever learn.

Pertama kali pergi Genting thn 1987, tgh hari pun sejuk. Malam lepas main game ramai2 jln kaki balik ke Ria Apartment menggigil2. Skrg dah kurang best sbb dah tak sejuk, suhu malam di Genting thn 2024 hampir sama dgn suhu siang thn 1987 😂

High rise building hanya tampak cantik kalo dibina di atas tanah datar. Kalo dibina di atas bukit, keindahan alamnya jadi hilang

Genting Highland bertujuan untuk menarik pelancong, jadi masuk akal untuk membina hotel dan resort sama seperti Petronas Twin Towers..

@@ViolentCabbage-ym7ko Tak sesuai buat bangunan tinggi² mcm dkt tanah yg rata mcm di KL. Tgk apa jadi dkt highland tower. Cukup buat hotel 5 tingkat dah cukup memadai.

@@amirism91 Bangunan Highland Tower 1 yang runtuh adalah disebabkan kecuaian dan kekurangan langkah keselamatan. Terdapat banyak lagi bangunan yang runtuh di atas tanah rata, tetapi mengapakah bangunan-bangunan ini masih dibina?
Wouldn't be surprised if the massive overdevelopment and abuse of the environment up in Genting Highlands cause THE mother of LANDSLIDES one day. Just huge thunderstorms for a few days may just do it.
I hope they know what they are doing. 😑
