@RandomGuy It depends. I’ve had some bad professors where I taught myself, but I’ve also had some really cool and interesting classes that I wouldn’t have been able to find online
I can't tell if you are being serious about the first part, but I know that many people are serious when they say that, so I'll treat it as such. On one hand I agree, but on the other hand, I want assurances that the guy writing the firmware for pacemakers actually knows what they're doing rather than "just trust me bro". Unfortunately, it's also cheaper for a company to higher someone with a credible piece of paper than to look over an extensive portfolio of experience. The certification just indicates to the layman recruiter that you know your stuff and are worth more interviewing. There are too many people who know nothing and think they know everything. The school making you pay for classes instead of just testing you is totally a scam, however, there is a much higher quality stream of information (it is rather unlikely that your professor is teaching you pseudoscience to indoctrinate you into drinking the spicy koolaid), which adds a certain level of value perhaps. At the end of the day, you pass the relatively standardized testing from the institution to get the paper, attending the class is usually not mandatory, unless it requires laboratory credits, which is sometimes very important for ensuring best practices and safety precautions. Sometimes professors are impressively unhelpful, but they won't ever be actively harmful towards you like some random internet guru could, in theory, be, and often are(le magic glow in the dark health-particle-emitting crystals OooOoooOooo). Not that there aren't very good online resources, such as this guy and others. But yea, wish there was a better and cheaper system in place (some other countries seem to have it figured out, maybe). Meanwhile, professors gotta eat too, though.
Hey man, i am here to say thank you for you, so much 2018 I did not have a positive points in calculus, and i did not pass, but this year at the first test i took 60%, yeah it is not a big point, but i would like to say to you thank you so much, and God Bless you so much you are a good person and teacher.
So we're just going to ignore the fact that he has videos on like every subject and they're actually good... Kudos to you mane , I've learnt alot from here.
Honestly I tried searching for a video that I could understand for parametric equations but I couldn't for the life of me! And then I come across this and I'm able to solve everything in a matter of minutes! Thank you so much
I'm in the process of watching all of your calculus playlist. I'm putting this in my resume, if this doesn't get me the job, I don't think anything else will.
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for an outstanding video/lecture on Derivatives of Parametric Functions in Calculus Two. This is another way of calculating the slope given x and y in terms of t/theta. This is an error free video/lecture on TH-cam TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
Must express my gratitude to you sir. You're the best teacher I'm seen, even though I've not seen your face. You are more than the lecturers themselves. Like you made me understand this so well. Even the formula they gave me in class was not understandable. Thanks allot man. Your days are long🙏
For second derivative don't you just find the derivative of the derivative? And since it's usually a simple, standard equation at that point it should be easy
You know what, creators like you need to open up a university, because these modern uni profs are just beyond shit. Thank you, I really appreciate it. AND I REALLY WANT YOU TO OPEN UP A UNIVERSITY PLEASE
Always liked your videos, but the parametric equations y=sec and x=18tan -5, AFTER the differentiation, I do not agree with dividing sec² with 1 of the sec in the denominator that was being added with tan....
@@sandrasarpong7148 it's like saying sin(30)/cos(30) can you cancel/cut both the (30)'s here? No you can't. You can however call it tan(30) which is the same as what happened in the video here.
I'm kinda confused so this might be a dumb question; but why can't you just rewrite y in terms of x, then take the derivative of that function? Is it just easier to take the derivative in terms of t?
If I understand your Question properly, you actually could, for example look at the question at 3:20 where we must get dy/dx. Going by your method, we could rewrite tye function y=6t^2 -15t^3 in terms of x. To do this we must express t in terms of x. X =t^3 as given. So thereforr we could simply get dy/dx when we rewrite y(x) as a function of x. If x=t^3 then t = cube root of x Now for y= 6t^2 ......etc replace t for cb. Rt of x Derrive this new function and this IS dy/dx ( meaning derivative of function y in terms of x) This is an equivalently correct method and would be correct too!
Is there any way I can make one time donation instead of subscribing to patreon? Kinda broke but love what you’re doing so.... Big thanks for all you’re doing on here 🙏✌️

This channel proves we literally go to class only later to return to our homes and learn via TH-cam.😂Great video
I go to class for attendance record 😂
I go to class for the same reason.
Yes my G we meet here again 😂
Swears
I swear am going to amaze Mr.JG someday. his lectures cover almost all science courses, truly a great teacher
i dont even know why im in debt to go to uni if i go to videos like this to learn anyways. Great video my dude!!!

I LOVE THIS GUY I FINALLY UNDERSTAND THIS GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER 🎉🎉🎉🎉
THANK YOU SO MUCH MY TEACHER NEVER WENT OVER THIS AND I FELT SO LOST I WAS CRYING ON MY HOMEWORK
☺️☺️
You are more than a lecturer you are amazing teacher
you will always be a legend for future engineers
The best tutoring channel I have ever seen
Within a blink of an eye, it was all clear thanks sir!!!!..

"now you try solving it"
no, i dont think i will
LMFAOOO
😂😂😂😂😂😂
You don't know how much your teaching has helped me
My calculus txt book made it look so hard.
I'm grateful for this ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
From 🇳🇬
As somone who is in middle school, books like stewarts and fritz can be really confusing at times. However, because of you, i understand perfectly.
I was not thinking when ma prof just do the stuff buh now am home learning and critically thinking with this guy... All hail the brain box!
The best channel on youtube
great vedio! i was sick and missed some of the topics.. these vedioes helped me get back to track.. great job ! man
I actually take out my headphones on class time and watch his videos, and enjoy rest of the class.
Thank you so much, your videos will get a lot of views over a long enough time.
5 out of 5 for your explanation 🔥👌👌🙏🏻❤️👍👍
This is really helpful to me. I hope to hear more from you.
i dont even know why im watching this. i have an 103 average in calc 2 and could get
My dawg you deserve a beer🍺.... Work of art
Your yt channel deserve my tuition fee, not my university.
thank you for passing me in midterms
I like your you're vedio very much thanks for helping us to learn
many thankss!! your voice is so soothing
you always save me, i really wish if i had the capability to do more than just a like and a sub, thank you so much bro
I really love the way you teach, tutor❤️❤️
Thank you once again for quality content, but it would have been really helpful if you showed us how to take the second derivative as well.

Great video, you really helped solidify my intuition about parametric equations (which are the best kind imo!)
you are the best
you are petter than my teacher
you are great thx u very much ❤️
Thankyou for saving me so much time😊
Thank you very much , your videos are very helpful. Keep it up
GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS! Thank you so much Sir
VERY GOOD EXPLANATION!
awesome you teach so patiently and beautifully well done keep it up 🖒🖒🖒🖒
You know what, creators like you need to open up a university, because these modern uni profs are just beyond shit. Thank you, I really appreciate it. AND I REALLY WANT YOU TO OPEN UP A UNIVERSITY PLEASE
Great precise explanation ,,thanks
Mkenya nice 😊☺️
Ur a life saver thanks ❤
Thank you I have exam final today
Super helpful and clearly explained!!
Hello from the motherland❤🇿🇦
Thanks ..It is very useful for me
thank you for such simple explanation.....
So much more helpful than my shitty math textbook 😵🤣
Simple and amazing, thank you broooooooo.
Is the answer of 4-15t also correct in example 2? 4:10
Thanks man. That's all I can say
Really helpful man, thanks for all✌️
India support for u✨✨✨
Always liked your videos, but the parametric equations y=sec and x=18tan -5, AFTER the differentiation, I do not agree with dividing sec² with 1 of the sec in the denominator that was being added with tan....
So the answer is wrong?
understandable lesson video ever ...
Hey, sir can't we cut T by T here at 5:08??
No u can't, because 't' represents angle value of sin and also cos.
I don’t understand why you didn’t cancel out the T please
@@sandrasarpong7148 it's like saying sin(30)/cos(30) can you cancel/cut both the (30)'s here? No you can't.
You can however call it tan(30) which is the same as what happened in the video here.
I started loving Math .IDK why
thank I am writing tomorrow
Can we obtain back the two original parametric functions by finding the antiderivative of dy/dx?
At 7:42 is 1/sin not cosec, you said it is secant and I got a bit confused
Great videos, thanks.

TomFilms thank you!
thank's God bless u
is it always letter "t"? Or it depends on the variable?
bruh..........................................
depends on the variable
Yes, videos from 2006 are helping
ty 💚
Thank you very much.
Love you man ❤
the mcat is hard and the mcat is important
God bless you
