Such a fun song to play. Finding a cover this good was impossible in the early days of TH-cam. I watched thom’s acoustic performances with Johnny from 03 for hours and finally noticed he was playing the A string open. I need to get some pedals to figure out how to get this tone. You’ve got it sounding exactly like the album. Early 2000’s was a fun time to be a radiohead fan.
Finally, was waiting for someone to post a cover in the correct tuning that knows the intro. Big thank you! Been playing this song for years and just layering it with the strum pattern with a d chord lol
Christ I’ve been trying to work out how to play the main riff in standard tuning for far too long, reading that Alternate tuning makes so much sense 😂 excellent tones and playing
Love Radiohead. Amazing cover and tone. Just another addition to all your great covers. On your patreon what are the presets please? I have a boss Katana. Do you have settings for this amp?
Sound effects I think, a lot of Ed’s stuff on Kid A (in general tbh but particularly on Kid A) is very textural. Pretty sure Jonny does the extra toms before his part starts. Ed’s doing backing vocals too I suppose if he isn’t doing anything on guitar at least he’s got that lol
Just how busy is Thom Yorke on this track? Insane. Amazing to see all the details. You really did this masterpiece justice.
Top tune! Your covers are the best on TH-cam.
Wow, thanks!

Una pregunta, la guitarra de Thom en que tonalidad esta afinada??
DBDGBe
so...that 335 is KILLER !!!!!!! did you add on the Bigsby ??
Yes... added it earlier this year... looks great... sounds great!
@@SparkyGuitar i was thinking of adding the bigsby on either my 335 or my Les Paul. Suggestions ?
Hey !
I love this chanel 🔥 she taught me a lot
But what is the model of the guitare ?
She?? :-) Blue guitar is a MusicMan Axis SuperSport… and the other one is a 1976 Gibson ES-335
Killer
What's Ed O'brien doing on this song if there's only two guitars? Is he maybe doing the additional toms?
Sound effects I think, a lot of Ed’s stuff on Kid A (in general tbh but particularly on Kid A) is very textural. Pretty sure Jonny does the extra toms before his part starts. Ed’s doing backing vocals too I suppose if he isn’t doing anything on guitar at least he’s got that lol
what's the tuning on this version?
Hi - tuning details are always in the description under the video...
Why your ES have 2 Pickup selectors?
In the late 70's they added a coil tap. It's really useful!
@@SparkyGuitar Never heard of before, really interesting.
what about some dinosaur jr or pavement
Me encanta, pero ojala hubiera usado una fender telecaster
Humbuckers were definitely needed on this one!
@@SparkyGuitar me refiero a la guitarra que hace el solo
Great, but Jonny’s part needs some life!
Great job! I’m wondering why you have 2 switches in the 335? One is the pickup selector and the other…?
Thanks! It’s an original 1976 ES-335 and at that time they fitted a coil tap that works for both pickups. It’s really useful!
